Gonna have to say Metroid. I think it's a franchise with a lot of offer, but it always feels like a *bit* of an afterthought for Nintendo. I think it's also maybe the only Nintendo IP that could really use the extra horsepower, as it's really their only series that doesn't have stylized visuals.

It's expensive for sure, but for lots of gamers it's a no brainer anyway. Hobbies and passions can be expensive, and these cards are nothing compared to lots of other hobbies. Nothing to sulk about, and definitly a fucking stupid reason to NOT want something to be available to the folks who want to enjoy games in their potential best version.

I hope Nintendo start getting every game out on PC day 1 asap, and I won't be suprised if it happens during the life of their next console.

But having Nintendo games on PC would not kill your hobby. It would simply make the games available elsewhere too, for those who want to experience them in higher resolutions etc.
How is that making the hobby any worse for you?

I gave my choice and said that Metroid on a high power console would benefit more than Mario Kart. I even put "IMO." At no point have I said I don't want Nintendo to upgrade their hardware, or that Mario couldn't be rendered at a higher fidelity.

Elaborate why Mario/Mario Kart cannot benefit from more power. Give me some reasons why it can't.

Who is fighting? Most people want Nintendo games on non-Nintendo devices as evidenced by your thread. There is nothing to think about as this is fact. So yes, porting fantasies is correct. It's literally the premise of your thread so I'm not sure why you'd take offense to it.
