If you could have one remake...... LIST IT HERE!

This is the correct answer.

Personally I would like to just see it fully Voice acted, with non stiff moving characters. Maybe with their own schedule like the subsequent games.
But the rest of the game I basically want the same, just bumped up in visuals. Fix some bugs like the broken stealth system. Make the combat more fluid with its animations, but keep the dice roll/chance system when hitting.

Of course there are handful of mods that will make a much more visually appealing experience, but I wouldn't mind something built on an engine that's a bit more modern.

I will list 4 I would like
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Burning Rangers
Eternal Darkness
F-zero GX ( the gamecube one)

Rule of Rose without a doubt.

It's a game with a lot of absolutely brilliant elements but a lot of flaws, the graphics are good for PS2 but it would benefit if the actual game looked like the cutscenes, it'd just go insanely hard and the game deserves to be back legally available for people without spending 600 dollars.

And I feel like if SH2 remake makes bank, it just might happen.

Princess Crown. I've never played it and there is no English translation. It's basically a Vanillaware game and they are one of my favorite devs. Been wanting to play it for years. Would love if they remade that.

Big fan of Thunderful's SteamWorld games and universe. I'd like to see a remake of the very first SW game, SteamWorld Tower Defense (DSiWare).

Always wanted to like it but it's just a bit too rough around the edges for me (spotty touch controls, bare-bones presentation, WICKED difficulty spike). A modern remake with a fleshed-out story, more levels and rebalanced enemies and weapons could be great.

I’d like to play a full remake of Planescape Torment with the BG3 engine with full voice acted in all conversations with turn based combat.

I'm going to have to say Skyrim. If only it was in say something like the decima engine and with no bugs whatsoever. I wouldn't mind seeing all of the Halo MCC fully remade too.

Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3, but respecting the tone, colors, design, and OST created by RARE in the 90s.

If you only knew my disappointment when DKC Returns was revealed and I had hoped for something akin to the original art.

My happiness would be immeasureable if we'd ever get a new game or remake that respected the original art style. And it would probably look amazing on OLED.

I would absolutely love a remake/expansion of the NES version of Rygar!

I really wish that Koei Tecmo would just revisit Rygar, even though the mechanics and story are kind of outdated. They would have to figure out how to further flesh it out because the original games (arcade/NES) only have the single Diskarmor and a very primitive moveset. And God of War took the PS2 game's mechanics, enhanced them greatly, and put the nail in its coffin.

Ninja Gaiden. The REAL Ninja Gaiden from the NES. This time with full anime cutscenes as intended. Still 2D and the same gameplay but with just upgraded graphics.

If done right could be great. But it has to be done by the same team and with same music composer.

Otherwise it would be an awful version.
It actually was "remade" both in Nec PC Engine and Super Famicom. Both technically superior consoles and both versions sucked ass. (Especially the music)

Yeah, man! That's exactly it! Besides the visuals, the gameplay choices and style in Returns are really disappointing too—the damn monkeys die just by touching water. I'd settle for so little, even if one day we got a DKC trilogy remake with the artistic design and graphics like Trine 2 from 2012.

That would be a money-making megaton and a system seller for Nintendo.
