If you could stay 1 age group forever, what would it be?

I'm 40 now, but mid to late 20s was the most debacherous and fun time of my life. 24 to 30 was amazing

What about you guys?

I was doing damage in my late 20's to early 30's. Like a dope, I went and got a girlfriend I had no intention of staying with and wasted prime years (for both of us). I think I would stay that age, given the choice - I felt established in my career and social life, but still had a twinkle in my eye about the future ahead of me.

I'm still having a pretty great time at 41, but there's this lingering sense of an impending demise as you start to see yourself look and feel older. Time just moves faster and faster with each passing year and there's nothing you can do to pump the brakes. Just try and enjoy the ride, I suppose.

Late 30s is pretty good. I wouldn't want to be younger again because along with that I was a lot dumber.

Are you asking to stay in the age group you would like to be in or is it tied to how life was for that timeframe?

If the former, early 20s for the extra energy, quicker healing and overall faster metabolism to eat a bit more of what I like.

34, my body is aging amazingly and hit the best fitness level of my life at that point. I feel I was akward in my early 20's, luckily still handsome akward, but like a Illinois 7-8, an extra decade somehow made my body reconfigure itself into perfection (for me and my wife at least).

We're all mortal and we're all going to die. Then after your body has long since decomposed into the earth, the sun in our solar system will die. Our planet will freeze to death and eventually be destroyed or severely damaged by meteors. What's left of floating remnants of our destroyed and frozen earth will drift in blackness in the infinite emptiness of space "forever."

If you were 25 forever, you'd be cursed to continually freeze and suffocate to death in space, and then be reborn to life only to instantly die again over and over while clinging naked to an asteroid. At that point you will have forgotten your name, forgotten language, and forgotten what it means to be human as you would have long since gone completely insane from repeated death and isolation.

18-21. Old enough to have freedom (and sex), young enough to have no real responsibilities or fears.

Now, I was miserable at that age, but I was miserable at basically every age. Give me what I know now and put me back then and I'd have a ton of fun.

This is why I do drugs and so much alcohol, it's utterly terrifying.

30-35 were my best years. I was sick most of my twenties so I never had parties etc. I made a pact with a friend that we need to go out every night in our 30s, was such an amazing (albeit expensive year).

Mid to late 20s probably. Although 29-33 were great, too. My wife and I moved to a new city and it made me feel 10 years younger after a few years of late 20s doldrums. We were getting out and exploring and meeting new people all the time. It was something I always wanted to do, but I always imagined doing it alone in my early 20s and thought I had missed the boat. It was really nice to instead do it with more experience/wisdom and alongside my wife.

20's.

I can not feel old, buy alcohol, and not feel like death after eating a Big Mac or a night of drinking.

Probably late 20s. Those should have been my prime years, but I ended up in a very unhealthy relationship that made me waste a lot of time. Rolling into them from my early 20s (which were amazing) seemed like it was going to continue to rock 'n roll, but no. I want to see what I potentially missed.

Early-mid 20s were the best for me, and I think they are for most, it's the time when you're just stepping into the adult life with still a youngster's mindset, that's the most anticipated stage of everyone's live I think, no more homeworks, no more exams, little to no responsibilities, just going to work and that's it, all the time left is fully yours and you finally earn money, thinking where to spend it, fulfilling all your dreams. 30s are OK too but you just don't have the same energy anymore, not even close.

Those saying 20s, you would want that 20s baby face as a dude forever? Or are we just talking how your life was at the time?

There is an objectively correct answer to this (mid 20s), so I don't quite get the thread. Or maybe I read it wrong.

I'm taking as the time you felt best about yourself where you were the finished article so to speak. Looking at photos, I prefer myself in late 30's for looks then my youth. But everyone to their own experiences.

Indeed, I think men peak at 35-45 looks wise. I looked like a damn kid in my 20s. Depending on genetics of course.

Mid to late 30s.

Old enough and wise enough to not be a complete cunt.

Young enough to not groan and struggle when getting up out of a bean bag.

Late 20s was like prime physique and, while not rolling in a ton of money there was still enough to have fun…

Early 20s I was still in school and poor, now I’m an old dad. Late 20s was where it was at.

Late 20's to late 30's for me. Prime physical shape and prime appeal to the ladies, though I've been married for most of my 30's. Probably still appeal to the ladies in my 40's were I not married but definitely hurts more getting out of bed.

Youth is definitely wasted on the young.
