I would give this a go at 60. Don't care for naughty dog games, but I feel like I'm missing out not seeing it play in person.

Same. I suspect they decided it'd be a bad look, considering how much public love Sucker Punch, Insomniac, Bend, and Santa Monica got for patching Ghost, Ratchet, Days Gone, and God of War (among others.)
Plus the free 60 FPS patch basically allows them to charge for the full PS5 version. I assume it'll be bundled with the remake of the 1st game or the multiplayer.
Sony charged for Spider Man Remastered, but I can't think of any PS5 upgrades/patches they've charged for.
