I really think that cutscene was a joke of sorts. You know how her Dad at the ends says how he'll never complain about garbage again? I may be reaching, but he may be referring to the old builds or graphics and how know one will complain again about them.

seriously--that motion blur effect is perfect--subtle, but give it a sense of speed that really makes it look almost prerendered. The lighting is excellent (check out the reflection on the gun in the reload animation on the second vid.) I don't know WHAT the fuck was up with that unfinished cutscene bullshit.

Indeed, both the motion blur and the HDR look tops

so im not the only one. Some blur happening if you turn real quick, not just the transition from 1st to 3rd person.

Actually, it seems to appear every time you move or turn around, no matter the speed.

You missed the early DC and GC days on IGN. Those editors (yes, MattC included) showered every fucking game with praise and kudos, apparently in a failing attempt to promote their platform of choice over the PS2. They are not immune from shamelessly plugging launch games to help get reader support. PEACE.

What you didnt notice that the first IGN hands on was posted just as X05 was starting before anyone had a chance to play PDZ at the event. The 2nd preview shows up a good 9-10 hours after the opening presentation. Which one seems more likly to be a preview of the build played at X05.
