The person at Gamefaqs.com said there is a video that you unlock that is advertising for the PSP, and those are the games they showed.
Can anyone confirm this video??
Unless you have to unlock every extra for all the 22 games on the collection, I don't see what the criteria is for unlocking this PSP advertisment video. The only "extra" you get by default when you access the "Capcom Extras" is a video for the upcoming Street Fighter Alpha Generations anime from Manga Entertainment.
I'm really digging all the games on this compilation (I got the Xbox version). Even though I have all 5 Capcom Generations volumes on the Saturn, it's far easier and accessible to have all these games on one disc....heh.
My only gripes about this collection is that the audio presentation (esp. the music) for all the games sound "tinny" with no "punch" to them. Even when you crank up the music volume in the Audio Options to the max for all the games, it still lacks loud energy and pizzaz. Some audio bugs here and there mar the overall presentation as well.
By default, all games are minimally "sized". Sure you can adjust the screen size to fit your monitor properly, but why didn't Digital Eclipse do this in the first place is beyond me (thanks for making me do this manually for all 22 games....ugh!). Also, you can't move the overall position of the screen.....weak.
As for controls for all the games, you can only augment the "primary" buttons. Meaning, you can't customize and assign, say....special attack moves, to other buttons. Weak again! So, if you were thinking about assigning one button for the special attack moves for Guy, Cody, and Haggar in Final Fight, you're outta luck. You gotta push both Punch and Jump buttons just to do your Area Clearing Move. Boo!
Speaking of Final Fight, the intro. doesn't have Jessica in the scene. Sure she was in the Japanese version, but would it have hurt to include it for "proper presentation's" sake? And what's up with the dude saying "Oh, My God!" instead of "Oh, My Car"?
Oh well, I look forward to Capcom Classics Collection: Volume 2. Look on the spine on the game case and it says "Volume 1".....a sign that future retro goodness is down the road. ^_^
