So, I live in the US. A group of four of us are trying to plan this out so we can go.

I'm concerned about hotel costs and rental cars. You're allowed to camp at the festival where you park your car, but we're having a hard time finding a place to rent a car in Europe.

Anyone have any idea where we could rent a car? We're going to have a hard time doing anything if we don't have a viable car, as it looks like we'd have to land inHamburg which is 46 miles from Wacken.

Any info anyone can give me would be great.

hmm, we're hitting snags.

Anyone know of a car rental company that will rent to a 19 year old?

Without that, We're not going to be able to rent a car, and we'll have to find another way to the show if we still decide to go.

Renting cars is not as common over here (Spain) as in the States, but things are changing fast. You should have some rental services at the airport, but I don't know anything about minimun age policies and all that. Guess you could google the airport you are arriving at and look for the car rental services.

Anyway, public transport shoul be ok in Germany, and besides, you will meet lots of people.
