Indie Bundle Thread - There's another one?

IndieGameStand has Pixeljam games.

https://indiegamestand.com/

Pay anything for Potatoman Seeks the Troof, Planeteri and Bitku Beta.
As for beating the average [currently 2.27] nets you the full PixelJam Octology of 8 games and the Dinorun games.

So, the Indie Royale Golden Jubilee Bundle appears to be free to people who subscribe to their newsletter. I got a mail with two free keys. at least.

I don't know about the quality of the games though.

Don't you automatically sign up for their newsletter when you buy a bundle?

Because I receive a bunch of emails from them, so I though I was safe when I read on their twitter feed that "people should subscribe to our newsletter before the next bundle", but no keys for me.

I just received my keys exactly five minutes ago, maybe you'll get them soon!

They make some really good stuff. I particularly like this game they did for Adult Swim called Cream Wolf. Hope people check out their games.

Heeey, my keys arrived (21 minutes ago, wtf)

Sweet! :D
Yeah, I just got mine this morning.

If you've been getting announcements for their bundles but you haven't gotten a set of keys yet, I'd wait some more before asking for some. They seem to be seriously backlogged.

I would like one. For some reason I was not subscribed to their newsletter..
Ha, same here. I signed up on their website a long time ago but the last email I got from them is dated October 2012. I probably unsubscribed from their newsletter since the emails always came a long while after I read about the new bundles on this thread, not because I wasn't interested.
Oh well, I know this isn't the right thread to beg but if anyone has an extra key I would gladly take it with many thanks.

I look kind of stupid now, but I actually got their email a few minutes ago, looks like they're going out in waves. :/ I'll send you one and have another one if anyone wants it.

What are these keys for anyway?

If you were on Indie Royale's newsletter, they sent you 2 copies of this bundle for free:

Maybe that's just me, but it's like they tried to get the most unappealing games they could. I'm just talking about their look and name, I don't know if they're actually bad games or just unknown (I'm not talking about Akaneiro of course, that one is relatively known and I dig its artstyle, although I've read that is kind of a dud).

Now that I remember, I actually voted for the Ballad of Reemus a long time ago on Greenlight! Couldn't help it, I love PnC games.

Anyone get this email? Feels like spam

Hello <my email>,
this is just a short notice from friendly GamesRage team that The Few, a game you have bought in "Polandball Can Into Games" pack, is now available on Desura platform.

It has a link. I have no idea what the Polandball Can Into Games pack would be. That's not something that makes sense in English.

I got it as well since I bought this bundle: http://gamesrage.org/
There's a Desura key listed on the page for the game "The Few", just like the email says.

Don't know why you would get the mail if you didn't buy it though.

Akaneiro looks pretty but kinda boring, Reemus looks like it could be good if the writing is good, Star Hammer Tactics looks like it isn't bad but just not my kind of thing and the remaining three look utterly abysmal. Going purely by the videos.

You must have signed up for their newsletter. Their FB (https://www.facebook.com/gamesrage.org) also let people know The Few's on Desura. Anyone that bought the games will get keys as they're made available. I kind of want that bundle for Cinders now. Oh well. Too late.

But... I didn't buy the bundle in question. I've never heard of it.

Strange. I bought it when it was advertised here:

There's a new indie bundle with games developed in Poland

http://gamesrage.org/

King Arthur's Gold
Nightmares from the Deep
The Few
Odd Planet
Cinders (BTA, currently ~$2.20)

All DRM free, but you're promised Desura/Steam keys if available in the future.
I have to say all of them except for The Few look really interesting. I think I'll buy it.

Man, weird. I clicked through. I apparently bought it on July 30th. I have absolutely no recollection of doing this. I haven't downloaded any of the games. I never logged the purchase. I have no idea what I paid for it. And I think I was on vacation on the 30th, so I obviously bought it from my hotel room or something? I even gave them the wrong email. I have separate emails for account signups for any sites versus for sites that get my payment details--and these guys had the high security payment details email ???

King Arthur's Gold is the only game I've heard of there. I could see buying the bundle for a buck to get a Steam key if it's ever greenlit.

Sounds like a nice party with booze involved to me.

So Magicka, how is it as a single player game?

The first time I played it was completely single player. It's really good fun and gets pretty challenging towards the end, especially "The Stars Are Left" DLC. It definitely stands up well as a single player game.

That being said, 4 player co-op is one of the most fun multiplayer experiences in recent memory.

Isn't Akaneiro a free game?

Yes, but you have to pay 9.99 for to get it Steam, technically...

... and the key from Indie Royale doesn't activate the game on Steam...

It's all very confusing to the point where I simply didn't given enough shits to figure it out.
