Got the gigawatt blades working:
You still have to buy them with xp
You press right on the d-pad to activate it
It uses 3 cores of power, which is way less than I though. That not very much; I already have 15 cores, I could use it 5 times before a recharge. It not amazingly useful though; fighting close range against pack of enemies doesn't go well.

I didn't get the Gigawatt Blades code but oh well. I got the U2 beta so I'm happy.

Anyway, I played about 5 hours so far and I'm loving it. There's so much to do and taking back parts of the city is really satisfying.

I have to correct myself: After playing thorugh half the missions on island 3, that game IS a 9.

On island 3, sucker punch turns up the action, the creativity in mission design and the story to a dregree that's simply unbelievable.

I LOVE this game. Hope there will be a 2nd part some time in the future!

wish they had a stunt list thing in the pause menu, it only shows 1 at the bottom. At least have a list and maybe just have question marks for the ones you haven't unlocked...

I've had a few clipping issues playing the game. Nothing major. These happened over the main storyline too.

I got mine by beating the hell out of someone near a ledge, they fell off right as I hit them with the last hit in my melee combo.

The game has some punch to it on hard. Cover is a must in certain situations, overall I'm really ok with the difficultly. Dieing but not too much (unlike KZ2, should have gone for normal first).

KZ2 on Veteran is very easy compared to Infamous on Hard or even Normal IMO.

back an enemy till they're against a wall, shockwave, look up, time it, melee. that's how i got it, took a few tries though. Also helps that I'm a good guy and they float from the shockwave, should be doable without the float though

Yeah that was one of the more difficult sections of the game on the hard difficulty.

But yeah, it's not so bad if you move around a lot and use cover.

Game is a lot of fun, and the sewer sections are totally Sly Cooper.

Not very pretty though, and definitely some bugs. I had to melee my buddy off poles to let him get to the next story section in the beginning :/

Doesnt really matter if they want to do it or not, it still makes the experience shitty. I've pretty much stopped buying games in store at all, because even our best buys make you say no to warranties and free magazine trials.

I didn't even bother waiting for my lunch break before going to pick up my copy. I went down right away. So I've got the game, the voucher with the GS-exclusive weapon, and the voucher for the UC2 multiplayer beta.

But I don't have a third voucher for a second UC2 (demo?) goodie.

No one should have gottend the 2nd UC2 code. That is for people who reserve UC2 and it seems like quite a few gamestops got confused and handed them out to infamous customers thinking that is the beta which it is not.

you got unlimited power and I just spam megawatt hammer and then redirect them to golem while constantly alert to incoming enemies and rocks. use shockwave to repel them. I was playing in good mode and incoming enemies fly pretty long in the air so I don't get overwhelmed.
