It should be a blue dot just like the other missions. I enjoyed this mission. The thrill of running along the rooftops and wires was really fun, especially with the enemy all around you.

That is weird if the blue dot isn't showing up, maybe try reloading the save?

Yeah.

As soon as the mailman arrived with the game from GameFly I tore into it. 6 hours later I finally put it down.
 
so the game never told me that if you do an evil side mission it would get rid of the good ones and vice versa, I did 14 evil missions and 1 good one in the beginning, I want the upgrade for the arch weapon, I'm screwed aren't I? a warning would have been nice :[

Thanks. Good. Now I just need to search everywhere for 6 shards I wasn't able to find before. This is going to take a while.

And this game is pretty long. Reviews were making it seem like 10-14 hours one playthrough, but it seems way longer to me. Maybe they didn't include side missions.
 
uh oh. I don't think I'll ever finish now that I'm addicted to collecting the blue orbs. I love this game as a platformer. So much fun/
 
This game quite addictive. I can't tell you how many times I've been just jumping around, making my way to the next mission when I hit L3 and see a Shard that isn't too far off. No prob, I'll just grab that along the way. Hit L3 again, what do you know, another one, just a little bit further away, I'll get that one as well. Before you know it, I'm fiending for the next Dead Drop and have no clue what part of the Neon I'm in.

So awesome.

When you beat those missions, the game scrolls across the map, puts an X on the other mission and says "_______ mission locked out." Sucks though man. :(

yea. but the first one I did was good, it was a green icon and I thought "hey, what's that"..went and did it, than i decided to go the evil route after seeing how the game was unfolding and :[ 14/15 4ever
 
I am getting addicted to finding the shards, and I normally hate that kind of crap. Such an awesome game; love the comic aesthetic. They need to advertise the shit out of this.

well so far its gotten the best advertising push out of any Sony PS3 game so that's good :)
 
i just bought this game. it is fantastic. i have been collecting those stupid energy shards for an eternity. I need to focus on the the actual missions. the animations are so fluid. really a stunning title.

this game deserves to sell well.
 
Haven't posted yet, but I love the game. :D

Almost done the Neon now, playing on Hard (which happily isn't stupid-hard but a good challenging but not at all frustrating difficulty) and I also want to make sure I can return to the first island for dead drops and shards before I leave. I kinda assume I can but I'd hate to be wrong. :lol

Oh and to anyone who's finished it will I get the trophy for beating it on Hard if I started on medium but just left it on hard after the tutorial sections (at the end of it the game suggested I play it on hard and I left it that way)? The trophy just says 'beat the game on hard without changing the difficulty' or something. When I go back to play the evil track I want to just cruise on medium... this game should be my very first platinum. ;) Damn games with online components I refuse to play preventing me from ever getting a platinum.

Just beat the game... and what a twist. What a final boss. What an ending.
I love this game. Can't wait to go back through on my evil run. :)

Fuck I love this game.

You get so accustomed to your weapons/powers and then they add another one and it changes the game substantially, constantly making it fresh.

Another thing I always mention is that with open world games it always feels like they create the world first and then throw in the missions later. With this game, it truly feels like they made the missions first and foremost, they are a blast.
 
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before or not. But I totaly love the check point system this has, no more go pick up mission, spend 5 min traveling to said mission to fail again rinse repeat. If I die I'm back in the action in 30 seconds or less depending on the mission.

I would kill for this in a GTA game:D

When he started talking to me at the beginning, I must've zapped him a hundred times and he just sat there, not even flinching. Woah! :lol
 
So I completed all the missions and side missions on my good run, but I still need 4000 XP to unlock my last power. Is there any way to get some quick XP, or am I gonna have to heal a bunch of people to get it? :lol

I know you are just kidding, but if you play the whole entire game, I think he is going to be the thing that Kesslar was preparing him for.

That's why you should never do the side missions till the end. It's what I've been telling people.

Question though, for the trophy do I have to buy all powerups, or just the evil power ups all the way and I don't need to worry about Gigawatt blades/melee damage, etc. Anyway I'm saving up for lightning bolt as it is, and then shockwave :).

I just beat it like half an hour ago. And hm, I haven't thought about that. That's an interesting theory. I can't wait for the sequel!

I'm only on the second island but when I got to the lawless zone I get bombarded by enemies left to right. Fighting there I made thousands of exp in a matter of minutes. Just killl/knockout every enemy in sight :D

Well yeah I learned that the hard way. I wish you woulda told me that 3 weeks ago when I first beat it. :p
 
Regardless of how it performs sales-wise, I'm pretty sure the Sucker Punch team will be extremely pleased at the reactions here. Be proud, guys :D I'll pick up inFAMOUS later in June.

This game is pretty addictive. I can't believe KZ2 took all my hype and this just flew under my radar really. To be honest so far i have had far more fun with this.

Also the game looks stunning to me especially for this type of game.
 
I'm trying to clear out the warrens but I can't find the last mission to get 100%. The area I still need to clear is just southwest of the bridge where you fight the second boss.

Does anyone know what mission I'm supposed to get there?

I'm still in the first district and I've cleared out 48% of the island through side missions and have been doing them more than the main ones.

am i doing it wrong what is going on?!

If you see enemies kill them, I've had quite a few missions trigger off of dead baddies.

Keeping some of the side missions tell the end makes doing some of the stunts a bit easier since it gives you more opportunities.
 
Man I wish they would've made it so you can rename your save files..
It's kinda weird not being able to distinguish which are my Good files and which are my Evil files.. but oh well.
