I would imagine this game would look great in speed runs. Similar to Mirror's Edge.

Get on a pole with an enemy near by, Jump off and aim shoot with him lighting then Thunder drop afterwards. Just got to do it quick.Sean said:Anyone know an easy way to do the stunt "Splash And Crash - While in the air, Shock an enemy and then hit the same enemy with the Thunder Drop move." ??
(I'm a good guy/hero if that matters)

You might have to try a couple of times but it's easy to get.
Sai-kun said:uhhh my game just went black at the failure of a mission. well, not black. but super super dark. all i hear is a heartbeat. i can't move, the crossbar won't come up....
did my game freeze?
Keyser Soze said:I think so, but you save continually, so you wont lose any collectables you have
Lion Heart said:I just noticed the foldout map on the guide is a poster on the back. Pretty nice.

Yep. Mine froze once. Restarted and it continued from last checkpoint.
Lion Heart said:Do you have the strategy guide? There is the foldout shards map, take it out and its on the back.
Why does he stand directly in front of the valves when he knows its going to shoot shit in his face. Just move to the side bro.dralla said:how does cole shower?

JoJo13 said:Any tips on the last boss fight againstKessler? I'm playing on hard and I got him down to a quarter energy, but the fucker doesn't take much damage and it's taking fucking forever with no checkpoints inbetwen. Really annoying, I'm not using many of my powers though. What gets him down on health easily?
shagg_187 said:Sadly, there are a few certain locations. There are no shards in sewers but there are shards in locations like the container yard in Warren and Prison... and the walking-under-the-bridge sequence in the beginning of the game.
That said, finished the game. SO GOOD!!
There are CERTAIN glitches in the game but they are mostly in the end i.e.the destroyed location in Historic District. You know, the place where you fight Kessler.
Question: If I start a new game, will I be able to continue to collect shards from where I left? If not, can I ATLEAST continue with trophies like Healing 150 people or Bio Leeching people?
TTP said:Just unlocked the 3rd island. Keeps getting better and better. Easily best combat sandbox ever. Crackdown/Mercenaries/Saints Row/Just Cause have all been owned by the Sucker n00bs.
Just wish it run better.
Question: what happens when I finish the game? Will I be able to do the side missions and collect the stuff I'm missing or should I focus on those before going ahead with the story missions?

rinker said:My last couple besides the pole one was the bridge that is completely destroyed on the side of Historic Island (The bridge that connects warren and historic before it is destroyed, not the sunken bridge). Also, in warren above the entrance to the flooded tunnel to neon.
Good luck.

Dementia said:Thanks for the tips... no luck though.
Man, I really wish there was a statistics option that would tell you how many blast shards you've collected in each district, so that I would at least know which island I need to scour. This is worse than trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Shinjitsu said:Yes you can go back after the end, In fact i would HIGHLY recommend you save a lot of the side missions for the end of the game.
I would still do some, but don't ever do ALL of one type of side mission, never know when you will need it for a Stunt.![]()
TTP said:Ok good. So I assume ending the game doesn't clean the city from enemies. Interesting...

Sai-kun said:buses with impenetrable armor? anyone wanna help with this mission? tried the hammer, doesn't work. thunder drop doesn't work either
Valkyr Junkie said:After you finish the main story, there are actually more random enemies in the city than there are when you have taken 100% of an island. I guess the devs figured that would be the only way for people that hadn't earned all the powers or stunts to get them in a reasonable manner.
I actually came across a huge brawl between the Dustmen and Reapers in the Warren once.
Sai-kun said:buses with impenetrable armor? anyone wanna help with this mission? tried the hammer, doesn't work. thunder drop doesn't work either
Shinjitsu said:Get on top of the bus, look at the back, there's a generator near the back you need to pop.
Shinjitsu said:This starts up long before the end of the game.
I spent quite a while in the Neon District collecting shards before I was done with the game. I had the district totally clear, and I was running into the same amount of guys I seem to be running into with the game cleared.
The groups of enemies seems pretty random, still not anywhere near the amount of baddies you would see if you didn't fully clean out a district, but it still happens any time in the game.
Valkyr Junkie said:Weird. I cleared out the Neon as soon as possible, and only ever ran into handful of Reapers until the end of the game from that point After that, I can't go more than a block without running into em.
