Anyone know an easy way to do the stunt "Splash And Crash - While in the air, Shock an enemy and then hit the same enemy with the Thunder Drop move." ??

(I'm a good guy/hero if that matters)

Get on a pole with an enemy near by, Jump off and aim shoot with him lighting then Thunder drop afterwards. Just got to do it quick.

You might have to try a couple of times but it's easy to get.

Not even, I did it by running towards an enemy, jumping, shooting him real quick, than smashing square. It worked pretty quickly!

I just noticed the foldout map on the guide is a poster on the back. Pretty nice.

I just spent 2 hours collecting shards in Neon, and I already had 45, AND I have a map. So sweet though, I did it real methodically going block to block, but at the end there was one I couldnt find. The last one was the funnest one, I was zipping across the rails so quickly and I found it within 2 minutes. Awesome. There was a frustrasting moment though when I was looking for one, I ran into a puddle where 6 civilians were standing in and I killed them all. That probably cancels out the hundreds of civilians I've saved :(

uhhh my game just went black at the failure of a mission. well, not black. but super super dark. all i hear is a heartbeat. i can't move, the crossbar won't come up....

I think so, but you save continually, so you wont lose any collectables you have

Well, beat the game tonight and got my evil/hard trophies. Then I got the Neon Distric and Waren to 100%. I've been playing this game since I got up and haven't eaten anything, not good for me at all, so I think I'm gonna go get some dinner somewhere.

I saw the ending coming from a mile away though, but still great and sets up well for a sequel...Oh and the Black Lightning you get for being evil is the smex!

Any tips on the last boss fight against
Kessler? I'm playing on hard and I got him down to a quarter energy, but the fucker doesn't take much damage and it's taking fucking forever with no checkpoints inbetwen. Really annoying, I'm not using many of my powers though. What gets him down on health easily?

I did it using the Mega Hammer. Just
Wait for Kessler to do the DBZ lightning bolt 3 times, and then he'll be come tired....then blast away. After that, just use your pea shooter tll he does the lightning bolts...rinse and repeat.

Just unlocked the 3rd island. Keeps getting better and better. Easily best combat sandbox ever. Crackdown/Mercenaries/Saints Row/Just Cause have all been owned by the Sucker n00bs.

Just wish it run better.

Question: what happens when I finish the game? Will I be able to do the side missions and collect the stuff I'm missing or should I focus on those before going ahead with the story missions?

Sadly, there are a few certain locations. There are no shards in sewers but there are shards in locations like the container yard in Warren and Prison... and the walking-under-the-bridge sequence in the beginning of the game.

That said, finished the game. SO GOOD!! :D

There are CERTAIN glitches in the game but they are mostly in the end i.e.
the destroyed location in Historic District. You know, the place where you fight Kessler.

Question: If I start a new game, will I be able to continue to collect shards from where I left? If not, can I ATLEAST continue with trophies like Healing 150 people or Bio Leeching people?

You can get back into these places if you missed the shards in them. I had to go back.

Yes you can go back after the end, In fact i would HIGHLY recommend you save a lot of the side missions for the end of the game.

I would still do some, but don't ever do ALL of one type of side mission, never know when you will need it for a Stunt. :D

Almost up to the third island. I really like it so far, maybe my only complaint would be the BS way enemies ambush you sometimes during missions. You get a dozen regular enemies plus a couple conduits suddenly coming after you out of no where and it's recipe for insta-death.
The mission on Island 2 where you fight the 2 huge conduits and all those enemies in the prison was a pain in the ass.

My Panasonic plasma would also like to thank Sucker Punch for including HUD opacity options. This should be a requirement for all games with an overlay.

It's were amazing happens!

.....

Oh wait that is the NBA.....

don't know!

OMFG!!! Now THAT, my friends, is how you do an ENDING!!!!

Holy shit, most satisfying ending in a videogame in a long, long ass time.

Sets up the next game perfectly.

My last couple besides the pole one was the bridge that is completely destroyed on the side of Historic Island (The bridge that connects warren and historic before it is destroyed, not the sunken bridge). Also, in warren above the entrance to the flooded tunnel to neon.

Good luck.

The top of the big skyscraper in/next to the blast site, where the game starts. For some reason it never appeared when I scanned for it(maybe cause its so high up?).

Thanks for the tips... no luck though.

Man, I really wish there was a statistics option that would tell you how many blast shards you've collected in each district, so that I would at least know which island I need to scour. This is worse than trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I beat the game good and immediately started an evil playthrough and am already half way done. Best game I've played all year.

Finished collecting all the blast shards. I just took it a block at a time and I guess I got lucky since I found the last one in the last area I had left to check.

Ok good. So I assume ending the game doesn't clean the city from enemies. Interesting...

After you finish the main story, there are actually more random enemies in the city than there are when you have taken 100% of an island. I guess the devs figured that would be the only way for people that hadn't earned all the powers or stunts to get them in a reasonable manner.

I actually came across a huge brawl between the Dustmen and Reapers in the Warren once.

Get on top of a building so you can jump and land in the bus without getting hit. Look for a red flashing light at the top or bottom of what you standing in and zap it til it overloads

This starts up long before the end of the game.

I spent quite a while in the Neon District collecting shards before I was done with the game. I had the district totally clear, and I was running into the same amount of guys I seem to be running into with the game cleared.

The groups of enemies seems pretty random, still not anywhere near the amount of baddies you would see if you didn't fully clean out a district, but it still happens any time in the game.

Get on top of the bus, look at the back, there's a generator near the back you need to pop.

Weird. I cleared out the Neon as soon as possible, and only ever ran into handful of Reapers until the end of the game from that point After that, I can't go more than a block without running into em.

Yah, it was this way on my Good Normal playthrew, on my Evil hard it seems the same as it was on normal after i beat it.

Maybe it's difficulty? I just assumed it was random.

Then again I play really drunk most of the time. I could be VERY wrong.:D

Finally, got all stunts and dead drops.. missing 10 blast shards. Damn!
I have no clue where they are.

If I can just find the last ten, kill 25 people while on a train, and upgrade all of my Hero powers, I'll get my first platinum! :D sooo close.
