I'm still missing 2 shards, has anyone found any extremely obscure places for those?

In all honesty, you're better off waiting for a guide with the locations marked on the map. There are quite a few which are in out of the way areas... I think there was one on the broken bridge... another in a pretty hard to reach place in the prison... quite a few more.

Its gonna take ages to find them if you are gonna go district by district... Trust me on that, i spent hours doing that before giving up. :lol

How do I get the Overload Burst? What are 'Good' Side Missions???
There are side missions that are blue inside the ring, as opposed to red or nothing. Once you do them it locks out the evil mission for that area. Once you hit the proper number of good side missions you can buy the power.

Yeah I was hoping that when you do all the satellite side missions that they would just show up on the map but not so lucky :(.

How much are they going for? I could use a new DS3!

Let me know if you don't get the winning bid. I have two codes, one from QORE and one from my copy of inFAMOUS.

I'd gladly share one.

Just beat it. Fun game, I liked it overall. I had several small problems with it, one being the variety of side-missions but that changed a bit in the last island so I have little problems there. Mainly I guess I wish there were more interactive things in the city and reactions from the people.

I'm selling my copy. If anyone is looking to buy it with the Uncharted Beta code, I posted it in the b/s/t thread or you could just PM me.

I cannot do the Right Back at Ya stunt to save my life. This is ridiculous. There was one mission (in the shipping container yard) with a Dustman with a grenade launcher where I should have stopped to do it, but I didn't, and now I'm deep in the Warren and haven't found a good spot to do it.

Are there plenty of grenadiers (with grenade launchers, duh) in later missions in Warren or Historic District?

Yes, you will be fine.

Question: Are you still on the first island?

So far I have found the second island much more memorable than the first, the general construction dosen't feel like the same old city. Just my take though. What I mostly take away from the first island was all the lighted signs.

bingo. still was on the first island, but just
beat sasha (i think it was sasha)
and moved onto the second.

really loving it.

Man, you must have to thunder drop from really high to take out a conduit for the Whack a Mole stunt. I tried taking out one of the dust men conduits from the top of one of the elevated railway's supports, and it didn't even phase em. Anyone know a good place to farm conduits? :lol

Does the game end after finishing the main story line? Will I be able to go back and finish collecting shards or should I do that before.

If you start a new game, do your stunts carry with you? I'm not sure I will get all the stunts in my 1st playthrough...and I wouldn't want to do them all again, especially since I'll be playing on hard for my evil playthrough.

No, they don't.
You need to do 'em all over again... and it won't be as hard your second playthrough. I found it easier because I already knew what the stunts were from my first playthrough (well, most of them anyway), and recognized situations where I could get the harder ones ("oh look a guy with a grenade launcher, let me try to get this one out of the way now").

I don't know this for certain because I haven't finished the game yet, but from what I hear there is no 'new game' option. You literally have to start a 'new game' file which resets everything to zero. Your 'old game' just lets u run around the city in the end.

So you have to get all stunts within a single playthrough. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So, I'm not anywhere near the end (still on the first island), but I have a question. Are you still free to explore the city after completing all of the main missions? Or does it have an actual end and you can't go back?

Edit: guess I should've read the post before me first. :D

I rented inFAMOUS from GameFly (actually I bought it box and manual should be here in a few days). Is there a list somewhere that lists all of the stunts?

edit: nvm..google is my friend

I'm playing evil. Love how people cower in fear of me:D

do shards gained in side missions count towards the 350 number? I feel like I might hurt something if those I didn't take since they would have been evil ruined getting every shard.

I need 8 more

I remember a few shards inside that area with the shipping containers stacked around that you go inside for a mission.
There are also two or three on those huge cranes across from the containers. I'm still missing one on the huge building where the game started. For the life of me I can't find the damn thing.

If youre talking about the one in the parking structure its in the electric area you first stumble upon in the game. Its all lit up so its hidden well. I think I spent a good 10 minutes jumping all around that building looking for that damn thing.

Sharesies over heresies. I bought my game early and it didnt come with a code.

So I took over all the areas of Neon City 100% and didn't get the silver trophy :/

Also, that medical crate mission sucks, even after playing it in the demo.

Just finished the 1st Island but does anyone knows if I can still go back to the place where I fought the boss, I missed two shards there

Anyone else get annoyed by the random background BGM's at times?

One in particular with overblown bass sounds... first time I heard it I thought the Cloverfield monster was coming.
Afterwards, I just put the volume down each time it came up because it's THAT irritating, especially on my sound system (the bass in that particular track gives me a headache).

Aside from that one track, though... the soundtrack was/is superb.

Yes, I think for a game that has no music for a long period of time should always have Custom Soundtrack.

Same shit got me upset. Wait until you reach the 2nd island, you'll get the trophy then.

I think my meter is broke, I've been a guardian forever >_<. Also how is everyone able to tell how many shards they have remaining?

Gah, 1 shard left and I can't freaking find it. This'll make me go insane!
:lol Took me around 2 hours to find mine.

Be sure to check the piers around the islands, this was the one I missed:

Sad part is that it's on the first island, probably one of the first ones I should've gotten. :lol

No

FINALLY found all 350 shards, my advice is to CAREFULLY look for shards around the water.

I do have one question though, I started a New Game but it didn't give me an option for which difficulty setting to play as. So I did the first mission where it promotes you to hard mode, will that work for the trophy? Or was there an option I missed to start the game on hard?

Ok, that mission on the first island called High Ground... WTF?!?

Moya tells me that I need to get the power back on and she'll put the location of it on my GPS and to call her once I get to the sewer...

There is no location on my GPS, just a bunch of red dots that like to severely fuck me up as I wander around aimlessly trying to figure out what to do.

Help!!
