arghhhh 349/350 shards!!! ffffffuuuuu I'm sure I've methodically explored every area! but I really don't want to use a map or guide for this (fantastic) game... I believe I was 281/350 before entering the Historic district and when I moved out of Neon I had 147, so it should be in the Warren... wish me luck !

Good luck with that. Yeah I didn't use the map either just found out about it.
I always made sure I had 146 on Neon before I progressed, come back to get the last.
Move on to Warren and not leave until I got 282 total.
That leaves the rest of the shards on the last island.

yeah.... had to take a break as I was shocked that it locked up. But got back to it, and it DID autosave.. YEAH!!! and went and 100%ed NEON. I might wrap up the game without getting all the shards/missions. I tend to play like that anyhow.
On the most affecting moment in the game
Choosing whether or not to save TRISH
I choose good, and didn't really expect repercussions but
half way through my 2nd run, playing as evil on hard. I made it 1/2 way through and am starting to get bored with it. I just want to see how the plot (particularly the ending) differs between good and evil, but I dunno if I can force myself to continue any longer.
Finished it last night. Brilliant game. A solid 8/10 from me. I really didn't want it to end. It's not short by any means but I certainly wasn't bored by the end and was hoping it wasn't going to. Still I can't wait to play the Evil side. Should be a barrel.
Now I have to find 2 missing shards. TWO GODDAMN MISSING SHARDS

Trying to get the good intentions trophy. What exactly do you have to do, do you have to zap someone or just by climbing the tower does it activate? I've tried it like 3 times but nothing. I know you have to go up the tower with just one person instead of the many.

I've been meaning to point this out, but I keep forgetting. The sound that it makes when you get a shard is the same as when you picked up a Precursor Orb in any of the Jak and Daxter games. Fucking blew my mind when I heard it.
Certain trophy requirements do carry over from one game to another. I just got the 100 high fall take downs on my second play through when I certainly didn't get a hundred of them. When I complete this second play through I'll get platinum.
Whether something is counted as a high fall seems completely random to me. Sometimes I'll zap someone with my lightning to the point where I get a Take Down XP notice and then they fall off the building and I still get a high fall.
Cut to the same building and I knock the same guy off the building with a single throw of the shockwave and I get the Take Down notice once he hits the ground, but it won't count as a high fall. It's making completing that trophy really frustrating.
Finally finished it. Last boss was really annoying until I realised it was actually meant to take quite a while. Made twice as hard by the fact that Cole has a fit whenever he comes into contact with any sort of slope. Overall I quite enjoyed the game, but it definitely could've done with a bit more time to 'polish', fell through the ground into the netherworld more times than I care to remember. Having to use the thrusters just to drop without Cole trying to glue himself to something was quite a pain too but understandable.
I think they need to tone down how efficient just spamming the regular old lightning bolt is.
It was a shame it was really the only useful thing (apart from the shield anyway) in your arsenal to fight Kessler
. Lightning Storm was frigging awesome though, loved abusing it when you got to use it pretty much infinitely!
The story missions themselves were definitely hit and miss imo, mainly due to a lot of them being really drawn out. Would've preferred more missions, but shorter. There were one or two amazing missions,
defending the prison is probably my favourite moment in gaming in the last 6 months, and I bloody loved RE5
. However the missions where you had to defend a bus or whatever were pretty annoying.
Definitely going to play through again to get the infamous ending, see if its any different. On the subject of the ending, I wasn't as blown away as some on here were, I mean it was still quite a cool ending, better than the majority of game endings, but there were subtle hints
such as Kessler going on about how nice Trish was etc, I think the mission where you had to chose between her and the doctors was the time I clicked on
.
Got high hopes for InFamous 2 though, never played a SuckerPunch game before but this has definitely made me a fan!
I phased through a wall into a building once and was just floating in the center of it. The camera made the building walls disappear so it looked like I was just standing on nothing 30 stories up. I couldn't move too well but was able to hop and roll my way outta there.
Got my platinum and I still kinda want to play ... but it's on to Red Faction Guerilla.
Few thoughts:
-They should of included a stats page since they already track stuff.
-The game needed a New game+ mode so you can carry on with shard finding, stunts, etc. on a harder difficulty
-The city was loads of fun to move around but needed more landmarks; it was easy to lose where you are in certain areas.
-Last trophy I got was Doctor Cole.
-Definitely interested to see where they take the sequel story-wise.
Wow, gigawatt blades are overpowered ! I can kill one First Son dude in one shot, on hard difficulty without powering up. Can't imagine what happens if I had bought the boost the damage three times
I played the infamous demo a couple weeks back and wasn't very impressed. Well I finally rented the title and my opinion hasn't really changed.
I don't like the combat very much. And enemies have too good aim. And the controls can feel very imprecise at times. When Cole is very close to two different objects he could grab either when I jump. And Zeke is a douche bag. The first thing I did was try to fry that bastard on his couch.
That said, I like navigating the city for blast shards because platforming is one of my favorite genres. And the music's nice.
Last, I've been playing Red Faction Guerrilla. Which if I had to pick between the two. I'd go back to Red Faction. Faction is more polished and the action plus destruction really deliver.
Really liking what I've played in the last few hours (just got to The Warren), but I'm afraid I'm going to have to shelve the game until I get a new PS3, or have this one repaired. Stretched polygons and other instances of image corruption really doesn't mesh with this game. This sucks, but I guess I'll have something to play in a few months.
Every reviewer who gave this game less than an 8 fails at his job. Seriously. This game is THAT good and polished in the gameplay departement. I'm playing the U2 beta also and I feel like an old, slow grandpa in comarpison.
hey guys cleaned out all the districts in warren but did not get the trophy. what is up with that? no other areas marked on the map, no other side missions. can anyone help?

on my evil playthrough. I didn't pay attention to the cut-scene [gf was here lol], so I was like ok... i'll just climb up and check it out. If it's the wrong building I'll just walk away. Unfortunately, all it took was climbing up the damn building to trigger the next cut-scene. :lol Gonna have to remember to save
