They send reams of Cease and Desist orders to likely sites - say a porno site advertising Zelda porn. But the process is largely idiot, automated and very scattershot. Anyone who has read a legal document will immediately realize that law firms are not staffed by rocket scientists. This is a mistake (one of thousands) that will simply go away.

what a bunch of retards Nintendo's law firm and customer service department are. Sure, the law firm messed up initially. However, having the law firm just send out an "we investigated the issue further and do not have any claims anymore, carry on" message would have been better than arousing even more attention by sending free games to porn site users.
