Wolfenstein Reboot "Is a Trilogy", Says Series Director
In the Wolfenstein
documentary, done by Noclip, it details the history of the iconic Nazi-killing series. Going over the reboot series, consisting of The New Order and The New Colossus, various facts and details emerged. Perhaps the most notable is at the end, at 41:16, where director Jerk Gustaffson mentions the future of the series. He states:
"I think this is important to say, because we have always seen this as a trilogy," says Gustaffson in the documentary. "So that journey, for B.J., even during those first weeks at id when we mapped out New Order, we still had the plan for, at least, that character; What will happen in the second one, what will happen in the third one. I think that's important to say, because – at least, I hope – that we're not done with Wolfenstein yet. We have a story to tell."
As of now, there has been no official announcement of Wolfenstein 3. There was a tease at the end of Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which starred B.J.'s daughters, but that's it. However, now that the studio's last project, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, is out, perhaps it's time for B.J. to make his return.
