Insomniac Games and Bend Studio are both playing the latest Playstation AAA blockbuster Concord

At this point, this reeks of desperation.
I actually enjoyed the game during Beta but it's nothing special and should be free... They should have turned this into a co-op experience with online campaign. Basically this feels like the MP part of Destiny without the main game. Baffling that they thought this would be a sure hit.

Sony email to every studio they own:
HALLPP . go to twitter and pretend you like the game and playing it.

Not even for free I will not touch it.

Imagine payne the dev's suffered when they got corporate mail this Friday that they need to play Concord all weekend or they will be fired in Monday.....my condolences....

Several studios sync up weekend play sessions and the player number is still low. Don't know how good idea this was for PR…
Could've said nothing and synced up all devs to play and end up with 10k+ ccu.

Seriously, why the fuck is the gaming media lying about this game and underplaying just how disastrous the launch has been?

Concord: Sony's online shooter is flying but not yet soaring in a very crowded airspace

Players seem to like Concord, but its $40 price tag has led to a tepid first weekend on PC

Are they fucking kidding? "Tepid" reception? "Flying but not soaring"? This is one of the biggest flops of all time and probably Sony's worst by a wide margin, yet so many outlets are acting like it's doing alright but not great. No, it's a complete and unmitigated fiasco.
Do you expect modern media to dunk on the woke game of the week? Cmon...

So the 1,000 players all Sony Devs?
And me, 1001 🙋🏾‍♂️
They already have rethought it. And they killed a few GAAS games too.
There were always some that would potentially be cut.
Not everything is going to work out all the time.

The same probably happens to sp games as well, we just barely hear about it.

Its likely the biggest bomb I can think of with this group of veteran Devs and being a Sony 1st party game

Its pretty deserving what the game is getting atm imo
We can agree for once.

The bigger issue is that they probably won't even acknowledge the most obvious complaints.

Even got into a argument with an Overwatch dev defending Concord on X, acting like he had no idea what Woke is.

The more they try to neglect their mistake, the more funny it becomes and the less I feel for (some) the developers. They can't all have wanted this game.

The pro concord messages on X are pretty cringe. They're like, it's actually good guys, play it yourself, give it a chance.
Should've been free to play or on a subscription. You don't pay $40 to give a game you don't think look good a chance. I don't even pay $10 on a Steam sale unless I like what I see.

There are more people with incest pedophile fantasies than people willing to play this shit. Let that sink in.

It's the Acolyte all over again. "Amazing viewership! / Most watched Disney+ series of this year ..." cancelled one month after the season ended.

If we remove the Firewall devs, people from other Sony studios, and influencers who received the game for free, how many of those playing the game actually paid for it?

Probably below 20k worldwide, including playstation, so 40$ x 20k sold copies=80k usd revenue for this game =D

Imagine someone being so delusional and entitled, to the point of thinking that consumers have to buy their game, even when their game does not appeal so said consumers.
That's the problem with those folks.

They'd rather double-down and go down 'heroically' than accept reality.
