The CPU overhead thing really does throw a wet blanket on this product. Kind of like the required rebar support. The target audience for these GPUs are the same people most likely to have a lower end CPU, or motherboards that don't support resizable bar.
That's the grand fuck up of the Arc GPU execution. They did everything right to make it work, except for scalable performance down to lower-medium end systems, where the $200-$300 GPUs make the most sense to begin with.
But bravo on Intel for hitting the right price point!
