In answer to the question above, my girlfriend got her 5S changed at the Apple Store and everything is now fine.
Now I have a very annoying problem. My iPad 4th gen has never automatically backed up to iCloud ever since I put iOS 8 on it for the first time back in September 2014. I lived with it. In order for me to successfully back it up to iCloud I have to do it manually AND set the Auto-Lock timer to 'Never'. That works every time.
Last week I got my iPhone 6 swapped over at an Apple Store and now that does the same too!! 😦 It won't auto back up to iCloud.
- iCloud backup is enabled on both devices.
- I'm on the 20GB plan.
- There is 12GB storage free.
- The back up of both devices is 8GB total.
- Auto backup doesn't work on any wifi network I'm connected to, I've tried several.
Has anybody got any ideas?
