Murderer's Gut Feeling™
I just wish I had an iOS device right now so I could buy KOTOR on sale. Might pick up either a 128gb iPhone 6S or a 64gb iPad Air 2 or iPad Pro.

How is the dual window feature working on iPad? Can I play a game on the bottom half and have a chat app open on the top half at the same time?

Just FYI.... Even if you don't have an iOS device you can purchase it on iTunes on your computer. Sometimes people forget that.

Pathfinder is SO good. the strategy is clear in that I know what I should do, but you still gotta rely on the dice and the cards, but you can build your decks to min/max your chances.... And then there's this whole other layer where you can move your characters around and have them interact with each other by trading cards or buffing attacks or healing. It creates this feeling where if you're thinking two or three steps ahead you could come up with some really efficient paths through the scenarios... So you can think about your turns very carefully or you can just try to brute force it and hope you get a little luck. There's been many times where I've won or lost on the last dice roll on the last turn... It's very emotional.

And then the app itself is super polished, great presentation, great art, great music and sound effects. Tactile feeling of rolling dice and moving cards on beautiful backgrounds accompanied by satisfying thwacks of combat and cards being burnt up as you slay monsters. The fighter feels like a fighter, able to kill anything, the rogue like a rogue withe pockets full of gadgets and answers and sneaky ways to pump up her damage, and the cleric has got divine blessings for days. It feels like you're physically rolling the dice and playing the cards but also that you're an adventuring party clearing dungeons. I love it.

It's really good definetly recommend.

Totally in love with Pathfinder as well.

Not the most informative tutorial imho (read the rules if you aren't familiar with the game, but after 3-4 games you will be at home) and there is a nasty problem that makes rolling the dice a bit wonky when you are low on health (you must try several times for the roll to register, a known problem apparently due to the low health blur effect) but when you get the hang of it...wow...it really shines.

I'm at work now and all I can think of is how to best configure the party for the quests ahead.

Highly recommended.

Boxy Kingdom from Scott Miller (3D Realms), Lee Perry (Epic), and Human Head Studios launched today on IOS. It's basically a rogue-like.version of Crossy Road. In fact, they collaborated with Hipster Whale on the game.

Looks good, bought!

BTW, Redcon is legit guys.
Yes, it definitely is legit. At first I didn't see the strategy in it, but there's a lot. For example, the placement of your guns affects their chance to hit due to the angle your shot will come down on an enemy base.
Or using carefully planned synergies to take out enemy troops (hold your flash bang fire, use your mortars to herd the enemies into a single room, then use the flashbang to stun them, and then use an AoE weapon to take them all out)
Or choosing which shot types to use when, or which troops to spare for an airship assault versus keeping them on a weapon as a buff

Loat Socks will be soon on AppleTV too.
The dev posted a video on Twitter (which for some reason I'm not able to link) and it looks really glorious. :)

I would love a F2P Animal Crossing that let's us connect with each other online. Buying items for your friends, decorating citizens houses, and the almost traditional gameplay like fishing, collecting, catching bugs etc.
Animal Crossing with micro transactions? No thanks.

Sorry to hear about your back pain. Take it easy and get well

Thanks :)

Egz is soooooooooo silly but quite fun. I'm not sure I like how they die and you have to spend XP to revive, especially since you can (or have to) replay/grins the earlier levels for XP. Really clever game though.

For me it makes it meaningful, every move counts and you get attached to your Egz (all those stats and costumes will get lost ig not) so you carefully sling him away. Makes the game harder, and it isnt just some mindless flinging. Is the develope intention, to make each Egz some sort of real life as opposed to todays gaming habit of reviving/retrying at will. And with me, that succeeds. Love Egz a ton.

Cat Knight Story (does what team meat don't)

Team Meat dont what? What game is this?

When did you last play the game? And on which platform?
Last October on iOS, the grinding in the game become far too tedious for me.

Team Meat dont what? What game is this?
Dont do a one touch difficult fast runner:

One founder of Rodeo Games (Hunters, Warhammer Quest and Deathwatch) started a new gaming company with other ex AAA devs while in 'pause' in Rodeo and this is a video of their next game which while different, looks very interesting.

Thank you sir I have used code 6MPW9A7H43R4

How many of you folks use MFi controllers? I have the stratus and want some more full console experiences but I'm not sure which games to get.

So I've been playing Jetpack Joyride for months trying to get all the costumes. Today I was supposed to get the final SAM reward(except for the two that require you to own the sled), but instead I got coins. I also no longer have the option in game to buy clothing with real money. The game is acting like I have all the costumes even though I still need the crab head. This sucks.

EDIT: Also I used code H4E9YWJ46WP9, thanks.

Verreciel on May 1st, which likely means the 30th aka tomorrow. Finally, one of my most anticipated mobile indie titles

Which also means I should probably start working on the May thread

Foursaken Media's other new game, Adventure Company, soft launched in NZ. This looks more up my alley than War Tortoise TBH. Downloading now.

Looks pretty sweet! I have a weakness for vector type graphics.
