iOS Gaming Thread March 2013: It's $1 per post, $5 for 8 posts or $10 for 20 posts

Okay guys, I've been looking for a new phone (last one broke and I've been using a shitty android 2.3 phone borrowed from my friend atm). My carrier sells the 8gb iPhone 4 for $250, do you think I'd be able to use it for every day use? I'm only planning to use it until the 5S/low-cost iPhone comes out. I heard it's really slow since iOS 6. I own a 32gb 4th generation iPod touch which is kinda slow but I don't mind it. I heard the internals were similar so I don't think I'd mind the slowness tbh if it's only that bad.

Also, my current data plan is only 1gb (Canada sucks) will that be enough for iOS? I heard iOs uses a ton of data compared to WP/Android. It is easily enough for me right now but I'm worried as soon as I get the iPhone 4 it'll eat data refreshing feeds/getting emails.

iOS only uses more data than WP/Android insofar as iOS users tend to browse the web in much greater volume than WP/Android users for some reason.

You know I thought the same thing at first, but ultimately got a pretty rewarding experience out of the whole thing once it was all said and done (companion, etc).

That said I was kind of in a weird environment. My wife had a kid on Friday, so I spent the weekend in a hospital room. I played it off an on in a dark hospital room, which, as you could imagine, kind of made things a little creepier. Then I finished it and went on to read every single entry in the companion, which I found super interesting.

I'll come right out and say it, I cheated a lot. basically if I got stuck for more than 5 minutes or so, I looked it up. I did, however, write down all the solutions to the puzzles and completed them on my own. Really just navigation was where I needed the most help.

Unmechanical and Capsized+ are awesome if you like large level 2D platformer.

Unmechanical use Unreal Engine, and it is all puzzle.
Capsized+ is shooter with dual stick control.

You just have to tap the biggest section, and the better you do, the harder it gets. Games always last the same amount of time (the length of an incredible piece of music) so there's a brilliant GOTTAGOFASTER but GOTTABERIGHT dilemma, because you get a higher combo if you're not messing up.

One of my favourite iOS games, and made by some guy here in case that sways your decision to give it a go. I can't remember who, though, but it's the same people who made Little Things Forever.

Yeah this is getting ridiculous. If the turn doesn't send right away, you know you're gonna have a corrupt game. Maybe we should start playing over Network Play and just getting nice 10 minute matches in that way.

Is stickman golf cross platform play? I swear I saw another invite option other than gamecentre but now cant see anything other than invite gc friends or randoms...

I'm giving a shot and bought your game. Shame that i now must go to sleep since i have classes early in the morning. Hope the game helps me have fun through the bus ride. xP

Wow, it is very well made adventure game. Lot of things to interact.

Simple but really enjoying the first 20 mins.

Aye, the price little push me off. I realise it is made for iPad only which could be more value of game worth. Hopefully not too short game.
