How is everyone taking screen grabs of their phone's screen?
SkyMasterson said:Grrr, I hope this is something that can be fixed via patch(is that possible?).
I literally just got my phone(haven't activated it yet).

If I haven't activated or turned on my phone yet, would apple let me exchange it for a black one?
Hold Home and Tap the Sleep/Wake button.Zefah said:How is everyone taking screen grabs of their phone's screen?
That is very strange.nVidiot_Whore said:My phone went through a setup.. then said nothing about activation.
It's now usable via WiFi, but says "no service", and iTunes doesn't know the phone number.
This is fucking annoying.
No, they did absolutely nothing it sounds like besides try to call me with an unfamiliar number. The person at fedex I talked to said something about my voicemail not working which was bullshit. They had my address completely wrong and even the Apartment Number was left off.Evlar said:Did they actually deliver it? Accept the signature and everything?
That's a major fuck-up.
BocoDragon said:I'm not sure if the 4S screen can be considered worse. It's just different. It may be better in some regard.

I think you could exchange... if they had stock.
Cornballer said:Same here. I'm in SF and can't get it activated. Oh well, I'll try again later.
My wife just took it out of the box, did the new phone setup steps on the phone itself and it's activated and working.JackEtc said:What's the process for activating the Verizon iPhone? On-phone, dialing a number, or through iTunes?

Kusagari said:Still not activating. Fuck AT&T how are the ones who have had the iPhone the longest, the ones that fuck up so bad?
stldave2 said:Been trying to activate for the last 4 hours. A blend of iTunes and directly on the phone. I even tried calling AT&T and the guy just said that I had to sync through iTunes but Apples servers were down (really?)
It's the same for all carriers. Turn on your phone and follow the prompts. You can activate via WiFi or cell network.JackEtc said:What's the process for activating the Verizon iPhone? On-phone, dialing a number, or through iTunes?

On AT&T myself and have been trying to activate for 8 hours now.
Slim. Asked an AT&T store employee last week if I could do the same just to be safe and she said nope.Cyan said:So, sounds from this thread like there are plenty of iPhones in stores.
Odds I can get my Verizon preorder arriving next week changed to a pick-up at the Verizon store?
.23Mbps...EviLore said:Speed test on my iPhone 4, AT&T, here in Austin:
220 ms ping, 0.23mbps down, 0.67mbps up.
Yeah. Speed increases dramatically after midnight when network load is lighter. Is it really worth it to keep a now-throttled grandfathered unlimited plan under those circumstances? Doesn't really feel like it.

Marty Chinn said:Why wouldn't you keep it? Unless you're downloading like 20 gigs a month, your speed won't change or anything, you'll just have a cap. Unless you mean jump to another carrier.
Yeah, that's about what I figured. Ah well.Flunkie said:Slim. Asked an AT&T store employee last week if I could do the same just to be safe and she said nope.
Sounds like you test it frequently? That's really horribly bad.EviLore said:Speed test on my iPhone 4, AT&T, here in Austin:
