So I took the 4S out for some serious picture taking for the first time last night at the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval, and I came away happy with the overall result. Considering the vast majority of pictures were taken in abysmal photography conditions (very dark, people moving, unstable base), the phone seemed to handle itself pretty well as a camera. Here are some samples of the pics from last night. Keep in mind, these conditions are about as bad as it can get for a camera, particularly a smartphone, and the camera's flash was used for 98% of the pics.
One of the quirks of the camera (shown in the last photo) is the flash sometimes leaves a brown haze towards the bottom of the picture. Is there a way to prevent the chances of this from happening? Or workarounds to avoid it?
