Ironic, because last year the FAN accounts were the ones that were able to order first.

EDIT: Apple's page went kaput, just got a we cannot process iPhone orders at the moment.
 
I'm sitting here with it in my cart at the "finish and pay" page. I keep closing the tab and re-opening it. ugh.

they're not going anywhere and they're not getting any cheaper, so I think I'll wait awhile. Nothing's wrong with my i4. cheers.

Thanks, so that's why mine isn't going through (work discount).

Is anyone else getting a message that they are ineligable because of an overdue bill? I'm all but positive that I paid mine on time, but I'm failing at that step because of it. AT&T is so hosed that I can't check it on their site either.

EDIT: Its just a reservation number. I'm sooo tired.

I had said fuck it, closed my computer walked into my bed room, and my wife yells at me "what's your apple ID"

64GB is now mine!!!!

All of you on FAN accounts, go back to apple's website, ATT still gives the error, but it went through apple.

I got it instantly but the email states:

Your iPhone has been reserved and your reservation number is: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We will email you at this address (XXXXXXXXXXX) when it’s time to complete your order. At that time, you will return to the Apple Store to confirm pricing and plan selection.

So I finally got through on Apple, but I didn't actually order anything. I just had my reservation confirmed.

Should I be getting an e-mail soon, or should I just order through ATT.com which is now working? Pre-ordering without paying anything seems weird.
 
I got a reservation number, but I'm not going to claim it. Hopefully not an issue but I've got my phone coming through AT&T so hopefully not an issue.

Tried to order from At&T but there is no option for any unlimited plan even though I currently have it on my Iphone 3GS. HELP!
 
I wasn't even thinking of checking while clicking through;:

Does "ships on the 14th" mean I go and wait at an Apple or Verizon store or does it mean it will actually ship to my joint? In all my years of apple whoredom, this is the first time I've told it to come directly to me (not counting my Mac Pro or any of my MBPs--they're kinda different).

Sorry for the lame question but I can only do 2 of the following 3 actions: play rage, attempt to deal with constipation, or read shit.

Ships directly to you at the address tied to your carrier account. Day of, which is nice (assuming we don't get told about horrible delays due to volume)
 
Just got my email with reservation number, but when I try to check my order status using the number, it gives me an error. Oh well, at least I have it on file that I pre-ordered.

What a shitty buying experience.

I had the unlimited data. When I go to the change plan options, the unlimited is not there, as stated in an earlier post. I'm a FAN account. Apple site said I got a reservation and to wait for an e-mail.

I had the same thing. It just said "Data Plan for iPhone" which has a different name than all their current limited plans and cost $30 like the unlimited plan, but it didn't specify that it was actually unlimited. So I chickened out and ordered through Apple.

I was kind of worried about that myself but the Unlimited Data plan was $30.00 on Apples site but now ATT shows that its $30.00/mo - your discount so its the same deal as you had before most likely
 
worst case scenario find a friend with an OG iPhone and get unlimited back. Thats how I got it even though the 4 was my first ATT phone and I never had unlimited data

It show's this for me, but it does not specify if it's an unlimited plan.

That specific 200MB plan has a different name though. I agree with your conclusion, however, especially since Apple.com specifically shows "Unlimited" for the same price.

I am stuck on the checkout screen because At&t does not specify if the data plan for the 4S is unlimited or not. I am thinking it's a trap that's why I need confirmation.
