I haven't had a yellow tint yet, but I definitely notice a ton of dirt along the edges of the glass on both sides of the phone. Especially in the corners. Plus, the home button gets dirt around it sometimes, but that's usually easy enough to get out when the corner edge of a piece of paper or something similar.
I've tried to get the dirt out from the edges of the glass but haven't had any luck yet. The gaps are too small for paper to get it out.

And if you ever get a notification (text, email etc...)while your iPhone is in standby just swipe the notification at the lock screen and you'll be taken straight to that app.

My buddy had a Candyshell on his 3GS and I loved the way it felt and the protection it gave. So I grabbed this on the cheap on Amazon along with some cheap screen protector. Best screen-protector I have ever used too. Easiest I have ever applied and the perfect transparency and perfect thinness.
I got that exact one too. I'm happy with it, and it's pretty sharp looking. Someone here recommended it a few weeks ago.

I noticed today that my 4s has a small hairline crack in the screen like very small I can only see it If the screen is off and the light is just right.

Sooo... updated to the new firmware today and now my phone has stopped taking and sending phone calls, but can still send texts, why would this happen? How can I fix this?

I was always under the impression that Apple is waiting on a solution for a 4G antenna that wouldn't drain the battery before they even consider making another variation of the iPhone because the 4G antennas on current phones run your battery dry as it is.

The iPhone 5 was released last October. It's called the iPhone 4S.

It used to be that there would be an iOS event to introduce the new iOS beta in April, and then the new iPhone would debut with the new final iOS at WWDC, but they changed it up last year. They introduced iOS beta at WWDC, and debuted the final OS X at WWDC, with a Macbook Air refresh. Then they announced iPhone in October with the new final iOS.
Now it looks like this:
Spring: OS X Beta, new iPad
Summer: iOS Beta, OS X release, new Macbook
Fall: iOS release, new iPhone
I haven't updated my firmware yet and now I'm afraid to do it.
Don't be. That's a rare exception. You might as well be afraid to ever step outside your house because you never know when a freak accident might happen that'll end you.

I have never dropped my phone and you can tell the phone is in perfect condition but the other night I noticed the hairline cracks in my screen.

Just upgraded to a 4s and my screen is yellow as fuck. Checked the Apple forums, 52 page thread.

Hang on to it for a few days and if it doesn't get better bring it to an Apple store for a replacement. It's probably just the glue that hasn't dried yet.

Nope, my 3GS was yellow as fuck and never cooled, and now my 4S is red/pink as fuck and hasn't cooled yet since October.
I've noticed that the screens on black 4S' seem to have a higher incidence of hue problems. Basically all my friends have iPhones, and the white 4S' all have bright, cool screens.
The problem mostly goes away when you crank up the brightness to around 60 percent. It's really annoying on sites like mobile GAF and Google Reader, but my love for the phone is still off the charts as fuck.

Needless to say, I love my iPhone, and I can see why everyone else does too. Very amazing smartphone indeed.
I've also come to love Apple for the innovative and quality products they bring to the table.
The only thing Blackberry has that iPhone doesnt is BBM.
Apple should transform iMessage from the simple texting service it is now into a BBM like service, where people can post status updates, broadcast messages, have true group chat, enter chatrooms, integrate it with game center, etc, etc....that will put the final nail into RIMs coffin, I tell you.

I had to switch my 4S out a few times before I got an acceptable screen. Their quality control on the screens is piss poor, IMO.
I've had every iPhone since the 3G and I just want to say if you're looking for a great case and don't mind spending a lot of money, then the Lifeproof case is the way to go. I've had it for about a month now and it's the best iPhone case I've ever had. It's the size of a bumper but protects 20x times more, since it's completely sealed and waterproof. I was using it on the pool earlier today while listening to music with some H2O waterproof headphones and it was just too good.

So guys, I just bought an iphone. But I've noticed it doesn't have that "smooth scrolling" in Safari like it used to have on my ipod touch. You know like you flick your finger and it keeps scrolling. (Momentum scrolling?)

Coin toss between 5.0.1 and 5.1. Seeing as 5.1 fixes the battery issues I'd day it's quite likely to have that unless you get old stock from wherever you're buying from.

Hey can you guys help me out I can hear music on my iPhone, Siri works I just can't hear key tones, sms sounds, or lock screen sounds. I reset the phone to factory settings twice now and I just don't understand....when I try to adjust the volume by the side buttons I'm not able to adjust it either...what on earth is going on?
Did you look under Settings->Sounds, I think there are options at the bottom for all that stuff, including keyboard clicks and lock sounds
