Maybe battery issues will be solved with 2.01... Seems apple is already on it.

EDIT: J/K, I'm actually not a total d-bag/crook.
Yeah, it's definitely much slower than it was before 2.0 (for my Touch). The iPhone also takes a long time for the first sync after opening iTunes. But after the initial sync, the subsequent syncs are very normal (i.e. fast) for both the Touch and iPhone.Tedesco! said:Is anyone else having issues with it taking 20+ to backup your iphone every time you dock it?

and there's a free demo too.
that's gotta be one HELL of a demo to upsell a 450 dollar app, lol.

I had only seen those from a few, brand new to the mac, indie devs.

Juice said:ANd this is why I got out of line when I was about to pick up iPhone #2 for the wife.
And this is why my wife has a jailbroken iPhone with the EDGE service disabled through BossPrefs.Juice said:ANd this is why I got out of line when I was about to pick up iPhone #2 for the wife.
Bourbon Cowboy said:I've noticed that my contacts list hangs up every time I try to call. It takes about 5 seconds to recognize my input--and the keyboard is real laggy when inputing text or anything.
This didn't happen before my update to 2.0. Is anyone else noticing some hangups anywhere in the phone? Its not killing me but its pretty frustrating when trying to make a quick call.

drknite said:Right above your post the Apple availability site is mentioned, but that's okay :lol
Starting to see more and more red lights on that page as the week draws on...White Man said:You can check availability here: http://www.apple.com/retail/iphone/availability.html
No idea if it's been posted yet, but hey, this thread is huge.
I'm not giving that lying site of lies traffic.White Man said:I know, but they didn't link![]()
Talka said:The Apple iPhone availability site is a crock of shit. Please don't rely on it. I wasted three hours today going to stores that were supposed to be stocked up with each model--they were all sold out, and two of the stores told me they haven't had anything in stock for two days.
So the site is pretty much making shit up.
What's this 2+ weeks thing people are hearing? What's that refer to? When they get more in stock? When you can walk in and buy one without it being a hassle?
White Man said:Redmond, WA. I ended up hitting 3 locations and heard slight variations on the same thing. I'd really rather get it from an AT&T store because I'd like to see in detail what will happen to my bill.
suaveric said:as far as i know, it's the only store in the midwest (not just the state) with any phones in stock.

suaveric said:What I don't understand is how the majority of Apple stores haven't gotten a single shipment of new phones since Friday. Did Apple really ship every phone they had in the country before they went on sale?
Kung Fu Jedi said:This is contrary to what I've heard, which is that most stores are getting new shipments daily, but they're still selling out.
Also, remember that they've sold over a million world-wide since last Friday. That's no small accomplishment. Last year's launch had issues and it was a U.S. only release.
