Ordered a week ago now...and still have no fucking update from AT&T.
wait, let me get this straight; the last.fm-app does scrobble the songs you play on your iphone, but can only submit them to last.fm trough iTunes?PotatoeMasher said:Actually, running the latest Last.fm app on OS X does exactly this. Not sure if it works differently on other platforms.
Me... When did you place your order?dr3upmushroom said:I'm still waiting on my Iphone to come in... Man this wait is unbearable, did anyone else order it and is still waiting?

That would be good enough for me.
(except I'll miss the lyrics part)

Jesus, just get a new car stereo deck that has aux-in for $100. All of the FM transmitters are garbage.dankir said:Just bought my iPhone from Rogers should have it soon.
I'm getting some accessories for it from Belkin. In particular the Armband and the car charger / radio thingy. My iPhone is gonna replace my Ipod Video and I want a good Radio FM transmitter.
Anybody if this will work with the iPhone 3G?

I don't plan on paying that much for one but I want something like that. Suggestions?

Randam_Hajile said:I pwned my 1st-gen iPhone today to 2.0. Been running the 1.1.2 FW on T-Mobile for months. Now, all of a sudden, I'm getting a "Network Lost" pop-up every time I lose my signal, which is annoying the hell out of me considering how often I lose service (T-Mobile is the worst service provider I've ever had). How do I turn this notice off? It's driving me crazy!
VOOK said:Switch it to Automatic? Mine did this earlier when I was in the Cinema, if its on Auto it will just jump on and off as need be.

Of course, mine has a tape deck, which sounds fine when plugged into my iPhone.
Are you trying to move phone data and music or just data? If it is just data you can sync data, just make sure none of the boxes are checked for "replace information on this iPhone" under the advanced section in the info tab.Marty Chinn said:I asked this earlier but it went unanswered. Does anyone have tips or know the best way to transfer an iPhone to another computer? My laptop died and I got a new one and I'm trying to get the iPhone to be recognized here for syncing but it's telling me that it's associated with another computer and I'm afraid it's going to try to wipe it out.
Mar_ said:Hmm.. So is it an easy task to 'upgrade' from an iTouch to an iPhone? In other words. In iTunes can I just plug in the phone and it automatically dumps all my music on there, including the few albums I purchased on iTunes?
It should know that the phone is a new device and be able to move all my crap on there automatically right?

Just a regular single plan with 1 extra line and $5.99 T-Zones plan.border said:What T-Mobile plan are you using? It looks like I may have to quit T-Mobile Pay As You Go if I ever want to get internet access on an unlocked iPhone, so I'd be interested in whatever voice+data plans they have.
Do you have to have a proxy server to get t-zones to work? I thought it was just some proprietary network of features, and you had to hack your way around it to get to the "real" internet?dallow_bg said:Just a regular single plan with 1 extra line and $5.99 T-Zones plan.
I pay about $60-70 for two phones per month.

I imagine only the 3G iPhone can connect to it, since I haven't seen it since 2.0 came out.

I've completed the thread view XML parser and added pagination to both. For example: The following link will output the Off-Topic forum's (id 3) third page of topics. I've added nodes to explain which page you're viewing and how many are available. Leaving the page value off defaults to page 1.
http://www.secondapps.com/neogaf/forum.php?f=3&page=3
The following link will show this page's full XML data (id 160872, page 159).

I agree that an iPhone skin for vvBulletin would be the easiest and fastest solution and also make hosting a non-issue. However, there are still advantages to having a true native iPhone app from a UI/feature standpoint... especially if we ever want good thread creation and reply posting. Imagine being able to integrate your iPhone's photo gallery and camera, etc.
As for building a simple Safari webapp off of this XML data, I think that is something I'm still going to do simply because I think it would be something fun to attempt.![]()

You just change the the server address to that of T-Mobile's in one of the network settings, that's all you have to do.border said:Do you have to have a proxy server to get t-zones to work? I have an interface that now parses this XML and brings it all up in a UITable. The XML parsing was a little squirrely for reasons that I won't go into. ETA on a complete browsing app is about 2 weeks. When this app is done I will open source it and send it to the folks at vbulletin so they can maintain and improve with their future releases.
ckohler said:Please let me know if you need the XML to do anything it's not already doing. I've tried to cover all of the bases but a second opinion is always welcome.
I'm willing to give out my PHP code but I doubt it's all that useful to anyone but us. The code is kinda ugly because the HTML tags in the template NeoGAF is using aren't all uniquely defined so I had to rely on traversing the dom manually to get at some. If NeoGAF changes their skin, I have to update the PHP script to work with it. My script also won't work with other vbulletin forums without some adjustments. If vbulletin made outputting of this kind of XML data a part of their software, it'd make the need for my scripts obsolete,
Thinking big picture, imagine how cool would it be if all forum software developers decided to standardize on outputting the kind of XML I whipped up? A whole new category of client software would emerge made specifically for browsing online forums similar to the way RSS readers read blogs.

Also is it 2 weeks until your portion of the neogaf app is done, or 2 weeks until the entire app is ready to be put up for distribution?
Thanks for all the hard work you've all been doing on the app!

Download the official version from somewhere (not sure where)Costanza said:ok I can finally sync my phone again
how do I update to the official 2.0 firmware? i'm still running the leaked one and it says it's current in iTunes.
Yeah I figured that's what I need to do. Anyone have a link to the official one?dallow_bg said:Download the official version from somewhere (not sure where)
Hit hold shift and hit the RESTORE button (under where it's saying your version is current) and it'll prompt you to find the FW manually on your computer.
Costanza said:Yeah I figured that's what I need to do. Anyone have a link to the official one?
If that does not work for you try here, there is a link for the newest firmware. Still no 3G?Costanza said:Yeah I figured that's what I need to do. Anyone have a link to the official one?
