OK, so I've had my iPhone since September but I'm new to the iTunes Store. Yesterday I cleaned out my iTunes folder and accidentally deleted my purchased TV shows. How can I get them back without having to repurchase them?

Either view your purchase history in iTunes and report a problem, or use the email link at the bottom of the page. They usually get back to you pretty quick and will allow you to use Store > Check For Purchases to redownload the item.

I'll keep trying, got it all sorted now, the iPhone/Twitter circle is nearly complete.
Twitter plugin on Wordpress that twitters every blog entry I make and twitter app on facebook updating my status with the last twitter.

Nice! My AT&T store (only one is selling the phones in my area :/) said that it will be 3 weeks till I can get one there. I'm making a stop at an apple store that is on the way to visit my new niece at my sister's, and hopefully I have better luck there. Works great for me. loads fast and has a nice layout, links to trailers, imdb page, etc if you click on the movie name on the results page.

I live in Chicago. Anyone know how, where and when I could buy iPhones for my gf and I? We couldn't make the launch for work, but now have some flexibility to track a couple down.
note: We called all the Apple Stores and corporate ATT stores yesterday and none had any phones in and all the reps gave some bullshit about not knowing when they'll be in again.

Ok guys, after pretty much some 6 hrs I believe I have finally unlocked my 1st gen Iphone 2.0
I also do not get the pinapple on my screen, I still get the silver apple.
When I have the ATT SIM it gives the info for Att, but when I insert the SIM from my Guatemalan Cell phone it gives me ATT & Tmobile on the new tab "CARRIER".
So did I do it right? Will I be able to use it on my trips abroad? I am soo happy, it took me awhile.

I know my friends don't equal real stats or anything but out of the people I know who got iPhone 3G's, the one who upgraded to it noticed and didn't like the yellow screen but the newcomer didn't notice/doesn't care about it.
It personally doesn't bother me because some images really do look sharper and better looking but that could be in my head.

after looking at the comparisons i really don't see a big enough difference for me to even notice.
although i'm not doubting, there is a yellow tint :S

It looked better to me after a restore. After comparing my 3G iPhone screen to the screen of an ipod touch, the 3G phone screen looks much, much better.

It bugs me that the screen on the 3G is smaller relative to the face than on the OG iPhone (larger black border along the edge, and such). Is that OCD?
I'm looking for accessory recommendations for my 3G; I want something that'll protect it from scratches and finger gunk but I want the size and it's ability to slip easily into my pocket to remain similar to how it is now. The only place I'm worried about scratches is the screen, everything else doesn't matter as much. Anyone have any recommendations?

I think they've been mentioned in this thread before. They're great and you don't need to clean the screen every few minutes to get rid of the fingerprints.

it comes with this spray that works really well... and you just spray the sticky parts and it makes it kinda not sticky until the spray dries up... so you just place it in the iphone and then make sure it's in the right place and then wait for it to dry...

I have one of those "zagg" protectors on mine.
The day i put it on, is the day my power button broke
the protector itself , once you get it on is amazing. It adds so much grip, i dont think you could ever drop the phone if you had this on it, because it makes such a difference.
only problem i had was on the front when i was putting it on, getting it on straight i had to put it on and off a few times and stretched it, so now its kinda janky

Now is that unlimited data for the entire plan? Because my girlfriend has a blackberry on the plan and they charged us an additional thirty dollars for unlimited data on her phone. It's just her phone and mine on the account. What's going on with this?
