Thanks to both of the above

No, I actually own a stylus for this thing, in the event I am a unco-ordinated mess and can't finesse a finger to do what I want it to, and even the soft point of the stylus, tapping very quickly, directly onto the I, skips the I and hits the O.Juice said:What?? I do not understand this at all.
Is this supposed to be hard to do or something? I can hammer out 40-50 WPM e-mails on this thing, and "Gabi" is no harder than any other string. I typed it in without any odd thing happening at all.
Seriously, it's like this isn't a gaming forum. Am I the only one with advanced finger coordination and dexterity?
Edit: Ahhh, if you're a lame press-and-holder it doesn't let you pick it. Meh.

I know that the keyboard's corrective measures are input-specific, and it won't spell-check certain things like email addresses, so maybe that's why there's a difference in the issue. Because it's not being fat-fingered or a slow typist.
But regardless, it's a pretty insignificant thing.

Drops the F bomb, though, which means I could never risk having it go off at work.

What should he do?

Best smartphone around? What, are you required to be a fan of the company before buying their product? I hate everything Apple, but gosh darnit, they made a great phone. iTunes is an awful piece of software. As glitchy as it is, Mediamonkey is better at file handling. You don't need to worship at the altar of Apple to see a good phone, but you don't have to be a hater to see the flaws either. To answer your question, I got it b/c it's the best compromise for my necessities. I'm amazed a guy wearing an Apple shirt took my criticism better than some of you. The point being made is that you're awfully petty over a computer company. Who really goes to buy a product just to talk shit about the company? Why do you have such strong feelings on this?Pimpwerx said:Best smartphone around? What, are you required to be a fan of the company before buying their product? I'm not gonna go into it further, but as a hardware engineer Apples close hardware has been a far greater negative than even Winblows. If I sound petty, it's b/c I'm paying for a product that won't give me the same freedom of some of my other devices. I'm not a fan of proprietary anything really, but Apple's just made a living of it. If the phone wasn't this good, I wouldn't buy it and I'd never grace this thread. You guys don't see me in any other Apple-related thread for this very reason. My bitching is more akin to an old man set in his ways. Maybe this cool little phone will finally thaw my cold heart. Or whatever.Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:The point being made is that you're awfully petty over a computer company. Who really goes to buy a product just to talk shit about the company? I still don't understand this argument at all. What is proprietary in a MacBook that is not in any Dell machine? It has user-replaceable RAM and HDD; it uses standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and Firewire; it uses standard DVI for monitors; all accessories, monitors, external drives, mice, keyboards, and any other USB or Firewire device all works the same as it does on any other computer.Pimpwerx said:I'm not gonna go into it further, but as a hardware engineer Apples close hardware has been a far greater negative than even Winblows. Closed box and such. It doesn't matter much in the end. I'm set in my ways on these things anyway. But you can see how I might not like being forced to use iTunes to do basic media handling when I've grown quite accustomed to doing it whichever way I choose. I think people see that you only can technically install OSX on a Mac and just lose their shit and assume the whole Apple world is closed and unfriendly. Seriously, what is this freedom you want that you say Apple won't give you compared to your other devices?

No, I'm making something that GAF might use... not a game, though. (not yet anyways)
But I am not sure if I have the talent for coding, and was kind of hoping someone with Xcode experience could end my panic attack.
There's still nothing closed about it compared to anything else. It's a poor relic of an argument from the PowerPC days. You can put every major OS and every piece of software for those operating systems on a Mac. You can replace every single component of any of the machines if you know what you're doing.Pimpwerx said:Closed box and such.

EDIT::
Also, does anybody know if I sync an active sync e-mail is there anyway for ATT to know that? I want to be able to look at my work email, but I won't pay Att 15 dollars for that privelege. I synced the exchange e-mail and it worked.
Anyone have experience with this?
Yes, the the AC adapter converts alternating current to DC (direct current) for use in the PC, and all power output from the AC adapter is the same.robertsan21 said:hi guys, I am travelling to USA next week and I am not sure if I can charge my Iphone over there.. due to a driffrent voltage than we got here in EU...
I am bringing my sony viao laptop as well but that one I am guessing I wont have a problem charging as the laptops have built in current converters right?
