so basically we have like 372468265382623 different armors in the movie. I just hope the final one makes more than 25 minutes
There'll be only 3, one where he breaks out, the development one and the final. The other one in Iron Monger not War Machine.

Awesome, every trailer just looks better and better. You can pretty much guess the storyline of the movie off the latest trailer but it's cool, I've read so many rewrites of the Iron Man origin, it's not gonna bother me to see another take at an origin story.

The name in the comic is Iron Monger, don't know if they'll keep that name for the movie.

I only saw 3 (or 4 depending on your perspective). The original grey armor, a beta version slim gold armor, the gold armor final version with red added and the Iron Monger.

hmm.. beaten.

This movie looks fucking rad, yet I have a problem convincing my friends. God knows why, but they're all convinced it's going to suck.

Favreau is a great director (who also understands Marvel), so I don't understand why they think that.

Day 1! I'm a sucker for these kinds of movies.

guys, it's pretty obvious there wouldn't be 372468265382623 armors, i was just saying there are a lot. Don't start to high five yourselves about it
damn, and i was so sure you were serious about there being 372468265382623 armors that i just had to correct you.

*self high fives!

but seriously, they've done everything right for this movie, i just know it. this will be the first movie i see more than once in the theaters.

Wait, there are people that WANT to see 10,000 BC!? This is news to me.
You kidding me, man? Roland Emmerich's one of the greatest directors of our time.

Independence Day is quite possibly the greatest popcorn flick ever made. Come on... I know you watched it as a kid everytime they showed it on Fox around July 4th. Every single time. Don't lie to me, Obi..

Other great films in Roland's resume:

Stargate -- awesome
The Day After Tomorrow -- amazing CGI and special effects save for the wolves. Loved the atmosphere and sense of doom
Universal Soldier -- Van Damme + Dolph in their primes... are you kidding me?

Sure, there's been a few shitty efforts... Godzilla is one. I didn't like The Patriot, either. But every director has a few bad apples..

Looking ahead we've got:

10,000 B.C -- looks epic as hell, the trailer was awesome
2012 -- no idea what this is about but the title sounds epic
Fantastic Voyage -- guaranteed to be epic and entertaining

Roland, much like Michael Bay, is one of the most underappreciated directors of our generation. He's delivered so many classics that entertained millions of people across the world... what else do you want, man? what else could you ask for?

Oh man, that's such a freaking awesome trailer. Especially the interior look at his helmet. And him suiting up. And peppy. And him doing that jump punch over iron monger's head. This and Batman and Hulk will be awesome! Splurge!

awesome trailer, but I still think the CG stuff is a bit odd looking.

You talking about the part at the end, where he shoots a rocket and blows up a tank?

Supposedly, that part of the movie
is just a test simulation.

Looks fucking awesome :D I haven't really followed this, but Robert Downey Jr = Win and it looks like a decent comic adaptation.

Looks like this will, DMczaf. The plot looks cheesy as always, but everything else just looks fuckin' awesome; especially when he puts on the armor.

My god, that trailer was sick.

I'm a big fan of trailers actually, and that one had me smiling and giggling of excitement, well done to whoever did it!!!

They really pulled off the flying. That's one thing that Superman Returns should have had, but didn't. Here, it looks cool and believable. I'm really impressed with everything I've seen. This really could have been a big shit sandwich, too, but they really pulled it off.

Lets hope the film is half as good as the trailer.

I remember seeing the trailer for Iron Man when I went to see Cloverfield... I was fucking pumped for the first half of the trailer as it seemed to be some badass war movie, but then I had to laugh when I saw Iron Man.

Yeah, I guess that trailer sort of did have that Lord of War vibe to it...:lol

Man, could you imagine a film like LoW, but out of nowhere Nick Cage starts flying and shit?

Tank sequence is definitely improved in this trailer. Gonna be a great year for comic movies. Hellboy 2, Iron Man, Dark Knight, Incredible Hulk. Am I missing anything? (And thank God the format wars are over.)
