Is anyone going to get Titanfall for the Xbox 360?

Just curious is anyone going to by it for the 360? and how well do you think it will do sales wise? I can see why but i get the impression they (MS) are marketing this as a Xbox One exclusive and I feel the 360 version doesn't get enough coverage. I don't think we have seen any 360 footage or screenshots either.

Afew reasons why someone might get it on 360.

  • 80million 360s out there VS a new and not established user base on Xbox One.
  • Don't want to get a Xbox One
  • Crap PC
  • Not a PC gamer
  • Origin 'sucks'

So is anyone getting Titanfall on 360?

80 million users on 360 but Titanfall is going to (and actively is) getting pushed as an Xbox One game; the community will be stronger there. Unless that's your only option, I can't imagine anyone not getting the XB1 or PC version. XB1 for me.

Xbox One for me. It will probably suck on 360, especially since they keep saying it relies extremely heavily on Xbox LIVE's cloud integration now.

Honestly I had no idea it was coming out for 360. I am now going to be getting it on 360 since I got PS4 this time around.

Edit: or maybe rent based on the above posts lol

XBO for me. It's the game I'll be buying the console for (at least at first). Still kinda bummed it's not coming to PS4.

The 360 version will sell the best by far. Keeping on 360 is a mistake imo since that means it won't be a true system seller. The average cod bro it is targeting isn't going to drop 500+ when they can get it on their 360s (where more than likely their other friends still are)

PC version for me, might get it on 360 to play with friends but not sure yet

Why can't the 360 benefit from cloud integration?

Obviously, The cloud is only possible on Xbox One, haha but seriously I think it does have cloud on the 360

The 360 version is being outsourced so I'm pretty afraid of it. I'm getting it on the XB1.

Tons of people will. I bet you they will sell more copies of Titanfall on current gen then "next gen". Same with Destiny and Watch_Dogs, then maybe the tides will start turning.

I would have gotten it for 360 if I hadn't sold mine.

It'll have to be PC for me, unfortunately (which means I won't really get to enjoy the multiplayer since I hate gaming with a kb/m). Oh well.

The 360 version isn't being handled by Respawn -- so that makes me weary about how it will be. Personally, I'll get it on XBO.

But, it will be interesting to see how it holds up on the 360. If it turns out good, I could see it selling well. But, since it's been completely talked about as a next-gen game, I'm not sure if that's going to be the case.

It's going to get pushed so hard on Xbox One it'll be the game that moves units outside of the initial launch buyers. The 360 version is outsourced and will likely look and run like junk. Let's look back at this in March, I'll sub to this thread.

Yeah, I don't see that happening. It's going to get pushed so hard on Xbox One it'll be the game that moves units outside of the initial launch buyers. Let's look back at this thread in March, I'l sub to this thread.

Yea, I'll stand by what I said. 360 version will do best, after all we are talking about an 80 million install base vs a, maybe, 4 millionish x1 install base by March

you know, a 2nd hand usb xbox360 controller works better than well with the PC, right?

Of course I know this. I use a wireless one with the dongle when I do occasional (rare) gaming on PC. I think you missed the part about multiplayer.

If I go online with a 360 pad against KB/M players I'll just get slaughtered and not have any fun, hence not enjoying the multiplayer on PC.

I'm definitely getting it for the 360. I won't be getting an Xbox One (probably ever), but I certainly want to give this a spin (don't have a PC). In all honesty, it looks like the best exclusive game in the launch window!

One of us will be right, one of us will be wrong, and I'll probably forget that I ever subscribed.

I don't know. If the push is there I can see the One version being the best-selling version, especially if the 360 version is underwhelming in comparison (remember, it's being outsourced).

For example, Twilight Princess came out for both the Gamecube and the Wii, but the Wii version outperformed the Gamecube version by far (>4 million vs. ~1.75 million), despite the Gamecube having the much larger install-base at the time (and the game was originally supposed to be for the GCN).

Getting on PC most likely, but will keep an eye out for the 360 version. I really want to see what the differences are.

Exactly, the logic isn't that hard to understand. I guess if they released Titanfall on the PS2 it'd destroy everything because there's like 7 billion of those.

Can't see the 360 version doing well.. It hasn't been shown off yet, it isn't even being made by Vince & the crew.. seems like its just there to cash in.. This is really a Xbox One/PC game.. The marketing will make the average consumer believe this is a "next gen" only title

Every single major 3rd party launch game is being pushed with next-gen visuals and marketing , and yet majority sales are stil current gen.

Also, since Respawn owns the IP, you'd think they want to release a junk version of their game? A poor version of their game have a very detrimental effect on perception of future titles.

Also, a lot of,countries will still not have an Xbone by March.

There's a lot of factors that will contribute towards 360 version selling a lot.

-- One next gen console launched a week ago, so, OK? Where are your sales figures coming from and which games are you referencing (I'd have to imagine it's an annual sports franchise). If a proper next gen title like KZ had a last gen, outsourced port to PS3, which do you think would sell more?

-- Respawn isn't handling the port, either. It'll be inferior in every way. Junk wasn't overly serious, replace it with "way less gooder."

-- Name the countries that won't be covered that would make an impact. Japanese Titanfall sales will surge past 20 copies!!!

I dont have numbers for this, going based on memory, but wasnt the gamecube version significantly harder to find than the Wii version? I remember looking for the gamecube version for my brothers birthday and couldnt find it anywhere. Eventually found it in a random game store, last copy.

I'll get it for PC if it has controller support, if it doesn't then I'll just wait until I get an Xbox One next year.

I have a 360 with a broken controller and no Live Gold, so I'm out of luck on getting it for 360.
