Is Casshern the movie good and worth watching?

the story gets all convoluted and it drags out, but meh its average at best. The action is top notch and The Back Horn delivers on the best fight scenes soundtrack. The movie itself looks beautiful and they got all the shots and poses right. But meh you find it hard to care for any of the chars or the world as the movie presents it in general. Awesome fighting though....

Then again if you wanna see beatdowns just go watch Crows Zero....ahh yes.

Listen to this man. It's not a perfect movie, but it is about 99.9 (repeating of course) % better than Casshern. Any issues it has are righted by the backdrop suplex.

Wouldn't have been so bad if it ended about half an hour earlier.

Funny fact, how atrociously bad the movie may be, a clever editor could cut out about 30-60 minutes and turn it into something truly kick-ass imo.

Just watched the "action" scene for that movie. Jesus christ it's bad. At least it has good designs....and that's about it.

i was so hyped up once i heard the typical big beat fight intro music start to pick up. i was so let down when a couple of minutes after it started, the fight was over, and i wasn't exactly sure what happened. Horrible editing, weak choreography, and that stupid glow effect that made the whole scene look like someone just got a copy of After Effects. Oh, and the Eli Porter dude didn't make the scene any more watchable.

I don't watch anime but I paid mad money to import that shit years ago cause I thought it looked cool. Regret it to this day, although I was right, it did LOOK pretty cool.

The cinematography is pretty, but really ostentatious at times. The story is alright, but the pacing of the movie left a lot to be desired. It's pretty slow throughout most of it and even when the action sequences come about, they aren't all that impressive.

Maybe worth a rental, but don't buy it.
