Banned
Looks like bish is offline again. Still don't think he's done.
A lot of interesting bans going on in there

I can't believe this is considered ban worthy. Maybe he got banned for something else, I dunno.
I'm probably a more... docile person on GAF than I am in real life. :U
What are we up to? Gotta be over 40.
Thread's still sticky so it's a fair assumption.
I dunno, I'm anti gun control/removal and pretty anti-corporation pro government control but still consider myself a democrat :V
I'm also never going to change those views and will fight anyone to the death about it.
Fuck.. I need this to be done so I can sleep without bish nightmares.Looks like bish is offline again. Still don't think he's done.

So what exactly happened in that stickied thread? Sounds like a massacre.

I don't think there's going to be a whole lot of bans left to make. Most of the last few pages is just people arguing with the one's who are already banned. There are a few suspect posts left though.
Hey, man, when it comes to saying the wrong thing only a mod can ban you from GAF, but anyone can ban you from life. Be careful!
Just imagine how much better everyone's behavior is going to be when we all upload our consciousnesses to the GAF bio-mainframe in 20XX.
Read it.

Damn... Blasty got banned too??
Damn..

a whole lot of misogyny
If you want a picture of the thread, imagine a camera photographing a human butt, forever.
Any y'all like yoga pants?

That's what i'm afraid of. After all, all this extra work he has to do is basically my fault... heh.. *gulp*He might be saving you for last.

So the question will obviously need to be posited:
What happens when we all have photoreceptors in our eyes and it's as simple as blinking to take a 32MP shot and upload it to the net? Because we're getting there.
What about privacy then? Anyone can just blink and become a "creeper". Do you prevent sale of the biometric eyes, some of whom might need them (the blind, the injured), or do you change other things?

I say this because our lives become less and less private the more time goes on. The more we use the internet, the more people use it, the less private everything is.
There will be wearable devices that will blur-out the wearer of said device from that photo. It all raises a number of privacy concerns and might deserve a thread of its own*.So the question will obviously need to be posited:

Conclusive proof that life is not fair and people are not perfect, film at eleven. The mods are just inconsistent. People get banned for the silliest things sometimes, and sometimes some really crazy shit goes unbanned. Maybe its that they don't notice it, or take things too seriously sometimes, idk.
I've seen too many questionable bans on the mods part.

Well, it would have to be a closed system. I don't know if I want to support a closed sytem though. Information should be free and hardware should allow users to do whatever they want with it. Creativity shouldn't be stifled ever.I assume by the time they have technology for that, they probably will have ways for the tech to detect what you are looking at and prevent certain pics from being taken or maybe some way to disable camera function with them in certain areas or even to detect who is looking at you with said tech and all sorts of stuff to prevent such a thing. Also I dont think biometric is the applicable word for what you are talking about >_>.
