What gave you this idea??? Complete opposite situation for me, then again I was an accident, so perhaps that's an underlying factor that permeates it all.

because the youngest is always treated like the baby and gets more attention as a result. when you were born your older sibling was probably jealous you were now getting all the attention.

Depends on the culture. In some the older sibling gets to inherit everything and the younger one doesn't get anything.

In Asian countries all the pressure is put on the eldest son. The youngest is usually the favourite and has the most freedom career wise.

My older brother is pretty awesome, so idk. My older sister, the middle child, is pretty cool too. I think maybe I understand a little more about VG's, music, technology than they do, but they are way more outgoing than I am. So? I still don't know.

Me being the youngest child, I did get to see my siblings mistakes. It's still good to make your own mistakes. Live a little.

I thought they were the most driven, but first child is more often smarter and more successful. Youngest child is often the funny one and most innovative, but not necessarily successful.

My brother, the oldest sibling, is definitely the smartest in my family. My sister is the middle child, the most driven, and probably the most stable. It's hard to say she's more successful than my brother, although she is successful, because of what he is pursuing. I am the funny one, the youngest, and I will never be successful.
