I understand but people are equating this to all people who won't date a different or specific race as racists. Even though there could be no other issues with the race and even love for them all but because italians don't get their wheels turning they are racist is my argument and what I don't understand. The problem is the assumption that there is a fundamental them there is racist. Black women do not have to look a certain way. Black is a social category, not a biological thing.

Well if we use racist operationally, which is generally how I think it's used though there's also a problematic aspect of essentializing it, to mean someone is acting in a racist way, then it doesn't matter what that person has done before. If he is being racist now then he is racist.
