It would be such a massive L if Miyazaki never makes sekiro 2

Gay porn is where it's at.
Forget Bloodborne for one second, this game is one of the greatest action games ever made, playing this game was like learning how to dance, the combat imo is unlike anything out there, it felt grounded while being flashy when you pull out the moves, and when it clicks, IT FUCKING CLICKS. I also think the lore is incredible, and the ending leaves alot of questions unanswered and I hope to God this was done intentionally to set up a sequel in the future

From is now rich\famous enough to make the game they like (even more tham before), the new armoured core is a dead giveaway.

If miya want to make sekiro 2, he is gonna do it no problem.

Sekiro is my least favorite of the modern From games. It felt like the same long, drawn-out rhythm sword fight over and over.

It was still a great game, but id much prefer a Bloodborne sequel and Elden Ring 2.

It never clicked for me.

The combat felt more like playing a rhythm game than action. Most of the boss fights were an absolute chore; once I found out the final boss had 4 phases I just YouTube'd the ending.

I felt the combat system was fun initially but quickly wore out its welcome when you realize how tedious it is.

I'm not sure if I want a sequel. As it stands, it can stay as an amazing one off. Sekiro was an incredible game, with a creative and addicting gameplay, unlike anything in the market. It pulled no punches when it comes to challenge, and I think that it what makes it so fucking good. You either learn and adapt, or you go home and be a family man.

Sekiro was a one time thing experiment like Bloodborne, it's very unlikely we will see Sekiro again

A-fuckin'-men

And yeah, its still an amazing game, definitely in my top five souls games, but its not better than ds3, bb or elden ring for me

What's with rhythm game comparision? What's the difference between parrying in sekiro vs. Dodging in souls when enemy attacks?

Of all the games FROM has released, Sekiro is the epitome of "GET GUT" gameplay because there is literally no other way to play this other than to "get good". There are no alternative weapons, no XP grinding for stat boosts, no support of any kind, no tricks or shortcuts. You either get the rhythm-based mechanics or you don't, there is no middle ground.

And I never got it. Lord knows I've tried, but I just don't.

Put me on Team Sekiro 2. That combat system was too damn good to be a one off situation. As to the narrative reason for a sequel, Wolf and Kuro thought that by returning the Divine Dragon to the West (I believe they mean China) it would end the curse of immortality, but the curse follows the Dragon during it's return and Wolf and Kuro set out to help the people they unintentionally harmed. So I would think they could go to Korea or China.

Would I play a Sekiro 2? Fuck yeah of course I would. Will I be mad if we never get it? Nope.

I've learned that some times it's best to just leave things the fuck alone. Same goes for Bloodborne....I've always dreamed of a sequel but now I think I don't really care if it never happens. I'm just thankful I got to play Sekiro/Bloodborne and I appreciate them for what they are. They came out and done what they were meant to do. You don't always need more.

If we get sequels then I want them to happen because From Software believe they can do better. I don't want a sequel just for the sake of it.

Bloodborne's story can expand and part 2 can be made. Can't say the same with Sekiro because from my experience, the story came to a complete closure.

I got never into Sekiro, no idea why. I finished Demons Soul, Dark Souls, Bloodborn, Elden Ring but man Sekiro wasn't my game. Never even nearly finfished it.

I wouldnt mind iif he didnt, and focused on something else like Elden Ring 2 or DLCs. I liked Sekiro but never really "loved" it. I might give it another whirl, honestly , I got to the final boss Isshin and never cared to finish it.

People are so obsessed with sequels and IP it is ridiculous. Ever consider that they never would have made Bloodborne or Sekiro if they were as laser focussed on sequels as gamers?

As much as I would love it I think Sekiro is the same as Bloodborne in that regard: It's not designed to be some new franchise or sequel machine. A one time experiment that turned out great. Miyazaki himself seems to want to do new IPs instead of wanting to spend much time on something established. Elden Ring has much higher chances obviously to receive sequels but personally I wouldn't be surprised if he appointed someone else to direct (like with Dark Souls 2 and Armored Core 6) and moved on to work on something completely new again. I don't think there's any room for a Sekiro or BB sequel like this.

A story DLC would've gone down really well, but that ship has sailed. Maybe a prequel with Lady Tomoe? I don't know. Sekiro was complete in many ways, nothing as far as I can remember was left unanswered.

It's pretty much perfect as is. But if From presents a sequel? 100% in. If not? Well again, it's perfect as is.

Best From game imo.

Armored Core VI is nicknamed Mechiro. A ton of Sekiro mechanics are getting in. (Same lead designer)

People honestly need to stop thinking armored core VI is going to play anything like a souls game whatsoever, there is just no need for it to incorporate anything from the souls series, the old games have absolutely nothing on common with souls games

If you're going into armored core VI thinking it's going to be like a souls game, you are in for some serious dissapointment

Eh... As any From Software game, there was a ton of cheese and exploits.

I love Sekiro, but I don't think it needs a sequel.

I just want FROM and friends to continue making these more experimental games. Unfortunately, Elden Ring's massive success all but guarantees that won't happen anymore.

Thinking that they'll play like old Armored core games is so silly. That's like expecting Elden ring to play like King's field. Or Sekiro like Tenchu.

How can people say Sekiro is perfect ? Everything outside of the core combat gameplay can be vastly improved. People throw the word perfect way too easily around here. I think even the general proposition of the game has huge issues.

This is clearly a sequel i want from From Software. It has a a lot of potential.

People always pretend to want new IPs but all you guys is Sekiro 2, Bloodborne 2, Elden Ring 2…..I mean, let him cook!!!!

I LOOOOVE Sekiro, but I'm not type people who believe every game needs sequel. If FROM feels they want to make Sekiro 2 I'm all for it, but if they don't then they shouldn't be force to do it.

At this point I trust FROM to make whatever they want.

The only thing wrong with it is the Demon of Hatred. Everything else is completely on point.

I actually really liked that fight, it very different enemy you faced so far but that part made the fight exciting. Also really liked story behind it, and the early hints they give you through out the game.

I'm pretty certain anonymous sources confirmed there were early plans for a Lady Tomoe DLC, but the relationship between Activision and Fromsoft turned soured, so they took Lady Tomoe and turned her into Malenia in Elden Ring.

From Software own the IP. Activision was just a publisher.

In the Souls games I can do perfect parries and jump attacks to an almost infinite degree without thinking and have done all bosses on my own many times over, even without any armor. But I found Sekiro's pinpoint combat parts to be so tedious.. I played it 90% through and still don't fully get it. Enjoyed most of my experience with it though.
