Yeah the "fuck is funny" thing is a little tired. Perhaps they should try "I'd rather drink a cup of my own vomit"

I do not see how line dancing is better than Phantom Brave. After all he did miss 5 hoedowns as a result of the captivating game.

The concept, with the line dancing and all that, is amusing. The ultimate cactus-fucking punchline is not.

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
adding a swear word automatically makes something funny.

There were probably too busy playing Phantom Brave to think of something funny to put in this comic. At least, that's what I get out of it.

They're over-sexualized talking apes and should go back to making porno for perverts.

It's a part 1 comic, I guess they're building up to something. I'm not sure what, cactus fucking maybe.

It's drawn strangely though, especially Gabe in the last panel.

Thats irrellivant. Im callin you out!

But i can only argue for the next 10 minutes i gotta go to class.

Well, disgaea had the worst experience system i've ever had the displeasure of using. Despite good art, the graphics were poop and despite the light hearted-tone, the story is next to nonexistant. No matter how much I wanted to love Disgaea, it dissapointed me in every criteria that I feel makes a SRPG great, and I don't think Phanton Bravo nor La Pucelle are any better.

Front Mission 4, however, owns your balls.

Disgaea is probably my favorite SRPG in a long time. It's all i'm playing at the moment. I'm only at 55 or so hours, and plan to do everything, so it will be awhile before I get to Phantom Brave.

See why I didn't want to get into the argument? Rapid fanboys go for the throat the second you say something they disagree with it.

Rabid fanboys that go for the throat? On a videogame message board?

Perish the thought!

I think I like FM4 better simply because it's all strategy instead of having to do all kinds of stuff and get to level 'bullshit' just to beat a high level boss (although people said you can go through the game without leveling like a maniac)

People with Earthbound avatars should not be allowed to deem anything "overrated". And that's coming from someone who LIKES Earthbound and is not a NIS fan.

Oh, I do believe that is the proposed straw that will break the alleged camel's back.
You sir, have gone way too far.

You can go through Disgaea's main story without much leveling. You might have to do a little here and there and maybe use some of the features a little, but generally the power leveling aspect of the game is optional. It's for people that like to customize and create powerful characters and uncover every nook and cranny in the game.

Generally I like it because it's pretty open ended. Transmigration, Master/Pupil, tons of human classes and monster classes, the ability to level up items and power them up with specialists, there's a lot of variety and methods to building a party, far more than most SRPGs. The Item world is a lot of fun too, especially when you bite off more than you can chew, and are trying to get past enemies far stronger than you to descend further down.

While Nippon Ichi's SRPGs kick ass, I still haven't played any SPRG that engrossed me as much as Final Fantasy Tactics(PSX). The Job system owned my soul.

Guys, you should try reading the related news article on their website to put the comic into context. Many of the PA comics rely on you reading the ----ing article. They're not archived with the comic for nothing.

That said, I grimaced at this one.
