How good IS your dragon sparring, anyway? How many of the beasts in the picture (does not show all monsters in the game btw), can you take on without breaking a sweat, and which ones make you shit with fear?

It is a link because you may not want to spoil yourself if you want to be surprised at the final few monsters you'll end up fighting. As for me, it makes the game that much better, and now I know I won't stop playing for a while yet until I've seen that beast in person.

Think about it, in PSO the giant dragon was an end boss, but in this game they're freakin' everywhere, and they're just minor challenges compared to the big boys. But man do they still pack a wallop.

seeing that pic made me realize I'm in for the long haul. Seriously I thought the 3rd dragon up the chain was the biggest enemy in the game. That one already looks huge when it's chasing you.

let me put it this way, the "fort" dragon is basically the 'Rtype level 3 space ship" of dragons.... it's BIIIIG

you know what though, in the guide books, it's NOT the biggest monster listed (although no one is certain if it's in the game, unlockable, or coming to the expansion)

I will scan tonight, but the Ancient Serpent is even BIGGER than the fort dragon.

The community isn't that big. There seems to be about 100 people at most on weekdays. Luckily we have a good group of people here playing. And it's only 4 to a party plus solo quests are always useful for going fishing or mining.

You obviously need to organize a party if your going to take down a dragon.

If I wasn't so engrossed with Katamari right now, I'd be playing this more. I should be able to finish KD today, though, so I'll get back to my MH character. Yay.

Is it like PSO? The feeling of being online with 4 people is just like PSO but the game structure is different. You dont go through a level from start to finish. The levels are circular gathering quests you have to go out and find some items and return it to the base.
For hunting quests you just run around trying to find whatever it is your trying to slay.

Dragons can move between zones you'll be fighting one minute and he'll fly away. U can tag him with a paintball to see where he is on the map.
