Starting tomorrow till Jan, got a combo of Xmas dinners with fam, meeting some buddies for pubbing NYE and even a bday dinner to go to. Didn't feel like the bday with nieces, but when they said it's going to a buffet, Im in! I'm pigging out.

Had a good pubbing night with other buddies last week too, and a nice little hottie I'm trying to work on dropped me off some Xmas treats today before she left for fam dinner. It's an odd one situation. She has a BF, but weve been doing dinners lately like were a couple. Friends, fam and myself not sure what side of the fence shes on. It would be stupid if I pressed it, and she freaked out thinking I'm out of line as were just good friends. So I'm taking it cautious here as I dont want to screw it up.

Someone in my family bought me Dragon Age: The Veilguard for Christmas. I know it is the thought that counts, but this has been a very rough year mentally, physically, and financially, so this was not a good cap off to it.

Oh, the picture. I did find this on twitter/X yesterday, so I guess it really is appropriate. The image is funny, but also tragic at the same time.

Side note: it really is not her fault she picked up this game, she admits she does not know much about gaming. I keep telling her to ask me, but she kind of just does her own thing.
