Their existing fanbase and customer base will now switch cause nobody is driving a car like that associated with woke nonsense.. what a shitshow

That's not a production vehicle.

Too low. Excessive wheel offset. No mirrors.

Final thing will look different.
Yeah, I think it’s a concept for the production cars to follow.

I’ll be surprised if they leave the AC return grill in the back.

There are concepts cars, which look somewhat like the series car but with some tech gadget that just isn't feasible and then there are concept sketches like this.
Its not even a prototype, it only exists in Photoshop / Unreal engine. This will change considerably for series production.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
Clicking through this was a pain in the ass, but you can see these are amateur baby's first CG renders of a concept car by a zoomer who has never driven a car before.

Drawn by a zoomer who has never even sat in a car before. Why the hell is there a barrier between the driver and the front passenger?

Chinese car manufacturers must be laughing themselves silly when they see these designs. They can manufacture much, much cheaper cars that are much more comfortable and luxurious than whatever Jaguar can come up with.

What's the point of being a pretentious rich asshole with an expensive gaudy car if you can't get road head?

it looks really low on the ground

So it's real after all. I thought it was just a bunch of concept pics. lol

By the looks of the long brown thing, maybe the zoomer looks to shoot pool!

And not surprisingly, the dash looks like a giant smartphone.

I dont think that car would even go over a decent speedbump without scraping underneath.

There's not even a back window.

Chinese car manufacturers are probably using this image as a cautionary tale on how to not design car interior.

Made a crappy phPBB forum once ... once.

Yeah. First words out of my mouth yesterday that it would never be built.

I was in Solihull yesterday and saw one of their their electric Range Rovers going back to the plant gives the game away by having ‘concept vehicle’ plastered all over it.

The marketing is hilarious.

This oddball pink car is supposed to be a concept car not even meant for the public. Similar to fashion shows showing crazy outfits nobody would ever wear.

But because the company changed the logo, fonts, had laughable ads, and promo pics are the concept car, it will basically overshadow whatever is the real car (assuming the real car is nothing like the pink car).

So what will happen is when they show the real remodeled cars, even if they are different and pretty good cars someone might buy instead of an Audi or BMW it doesn't matter because all they've shown is this for weeks and that's all the the public will know and remember.

lol

Then what's the fucking point?

Yeah, many other concept cars exist, but they at least are silly because they are designed to emphasise their new concepts. This thing has nothing new to show off.

They are trying to go the catwalk fashion route.

Release some crazy designs so people remember the brand name. People's eyes perk up seeing waify women walk on stage look like idiots with retarded designs, but it's so everyone remember the name when they launch their line of mens button office shirts for $50 and womens fall coats for $99. You wont see one yellow, orange or pink shirt or dress. It'll be mostly black, grey or angel white.

I had to google that car. Type F. Goes for around $130,000 CDN doing a quick search. So maybe around $90,000 US.

(typo I originally said Type 5)

I swear. If any car company can make a car that looks like with decent performance (doesnt have to be a super car) for lets say $60,000 like lots of other decent cars that go for that price in Canada, they get a shit load of sales.

Too bad car companies purposely make their best looking cars at the highest prices. Probably too afraid to make cars too good looking at too low of a price.

you should check out Chinese auto manufactures. Their cars are really nice looking, have all the bells and whistles, and re cheaper.

I guess the marketing worked - it's a concept car that will never be built, basically a showpiece of some nebulous ideas. Then it got everyone talking about a brand that was mostly irrelevant nowadays.
They follow it up with a good model and they might be in for something.

Are they even safe? I've seen a lot of them having issues on Youtube. EVs especially with their battteries prone to failure.

That's the tricky part isn't it? That's the part they have the most trouble with, making a car that people actually purchase.

I actually drove a Chrysler PT Cruiser ages ago, loved the thin stick, was super satisfying to change the gears. But even then it was obvious when you turned the centre of gravity for the car was borked. I later learned how shit that model was.

Many factors play a role in this. In the era of strict safety and fuel economy requirements, creating a vehicle that meets these conditions and is, at the same time, striking in style requires a lot of technical know-how, and this costs a lot of money and recources.

Car manufacturers like to play it safe, there's a reason why we have so many stylistically bland cars with little difference between them.
And it seems to me that this applies not only to the car industry, many stylists struggle with limitation problems that have evolved from economical and functional changes, as well as the customer's approach to the product as such. I still remember the times when owning any car was a privilege, today it's just another tool that drives our everyday routine.

Practicality, ease of use, safety - this is what sells now, even in the premium car segment. So you could say that we ourselves have become part of the problem, actually.

Giving way to pure function, beauty is no longer a bargaining chip, a culture-building element. It's a pain in the ass for the industry and we have to pay extra for it, hovewer sad it might be.
