How much of the ending are we talking about?

All the stuff with the homeless guy and the threads and the alternate present? Or just the stuff when he comes back and meets up with his love interest again?

The alternate present seems like a King idea, so I'm guessing it's the meeting with old Sadie that Hill came up with.

Hell yeah. Definitely my favorite King book and Franco is one of my favorite actors. Sign me up.

Yeah I liked the ending to 11/22/63.

It actually got me real emotional there at the last page or two, which I was not expecting at all from a King book.

Agreed on all points, I cannot wait for this.

John Harker

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
Franco as Eddie would be fucking amazing.

There were rumors of Aaron Paul meeting with Howard for the role of Eddie a year or so ago... but who knows if that's even alive any more. Aaron would be fine but I agree, Franco would be amazing

Sure. Why not. I can somehow see him in that role. King's adaptations are a bit of a flip of a coin, but I enjoyed even most of the bad TV adaptations :D

Getting the right Sadie is essential to this working. Must have chemistry with Franco. Must make the audience fall in love with her. Has to be cute but not pretty enough to be unbelievable in the roll. Has to be vulnerable.

Tough call.

After seeing her work on Mad Men, I think Alexis Bledel could work. She's not blond or six feet tall, but they don't seem to be going for similar physical casting.

For some reason I could see the one who plays Dottie the Assassin in Agent Carter as Sadie.
