You guys always know things even before the rest do, including me. Is Omega using smoke and mirrors, or is he really off the table?
Off the table, really

Omega won't sign until a) He and Ibushi do whatever the fuck they want to do and b) the Young Bucks come in with him. Those two seem to be pretty higher on his list than becoming IWGP champion, probably because it is not that factible to accomplish with a one year contract

I simply refuse to believe its a botch. I think its a worked shoot to make people think it was a botch.
Pretty sure it was confirmed to be an actual botch, they called the rest on the fly. Can't find an exact source but there was a podcast where Cena said it. I'm sure others like Batista have brought it up too.

Don't shoot yourself into a work, mark.

So Orton's the only one to win from #8. Hmmmm.

Previous 8's:
Goldust (2016, 2013)
Sin Cara (2015)
Kofi Kingston (2014)
Ricardo Rodriguez (2012)
Yoshi Tatsu (2011)
Triple H (2010)
Randy Orton (2009)
Batista (2008)
Gregory Helms (2007)

I don't care what anyone says. There's no way the entire thing went down like that as a botch and correction of a botch, from them coincidentally falling in a way that they landed legitimately simultaneously, to the way the refs reacted with the whole "half the refs say Cena won and half the refs say Batista won" to the way Vince came storming out.

I don't buy that either Vince or the WWE has a secret plan for how to react to both guys falling out simultaneously in the final two of the Royal Rumble.

The only thing I can guess is that Omega felt guilty about leaving or something, because I don't see how he expects to get any kind of big spot when he explicitly refuses to do a multi-year deal so he can reconsider WWE next year.

I still don't know why KENTA with WWE

Especially considering when CM Punk went over there he wholesale just ripped off his schtick entirely and threw on the anaconda vice along with it. Seriously...Punk was doing Pepsi Plunges and Pepsi Twists in the indies then suddenly he is doin a Kenta impression and not even changing move names. What was Kenta gonna do after they made a prominent clone out of his entire catalog?

WWE badly wanted a Japanese star to coincide with launching the network in Japan. I'm sure he's being paid several times more what he made in Noah.

Creative wise it made a lot more sense before Nakamura and a cruiserweight division were there. The injuries haven't helped either.

Hell he had several knee injuries BEFORE WWE got him. Then the shoulder went and now the neck. He done.

We had a total of 34 entrants into the 2017 WrassleGaf Royal Ramble Lethal Lottery. I used a random number generator to pick a number between 1 and 30 for each of the first group of 30. I made sure there was no overlap. I then went and did a random number between 1 and 30 for each of the overflow participants. Some numbers are assigned to two people...that's just how it goes.

I've found in the past this can add extra enjoyment to the Rumble as you find yourself rooting for someone you never thought you would before.

Root for whoever comes out at your number to win and enjoy the Rumble!

The late February taping at UCF is happening about five miles down the road on University Blvd from where Full Sail is. The Miami show is just a house show.
They've done it before too. I think after SummerSlam?

I doubt he's just working folk. I can't imagine he would leave New Japan without having a world title run, it's the kind of stuff that's important to him.

Not sure how into Tennis you lot are but the finals of the Australian Open in both the women's and men's are all 'veterans'. Perhaps scripted sports entertainment is not too dissimilar from actual sports.

He pretty better than everyone who was/ is at performance center besides maybe American alpha.

Its hard to say that when he has really never had a singles match while in New Japan but been just in multi men matches.

Also, I doubt he is better than revival, charlotte, becky, bayley or Sasha.

I'm not including the indie stars in the center as well.

Theyve wanted to push Itami multiple times, he just has hurt himself at every opportunity. We dont even know if he can get over in NXT/WWE.

Even before his run of injuries, Itami was an awkward fit. It's not even that he's Diet Kenta, he's the off-brand Wal-Mart version of him.
