Haha, that stupid car chase/wreck is so dumb.

Let's share greatest WWE moments you witnessed live. (Best WWE live event you've been to.)

I was lucky enough to witness Kurt Angle's first World Title victory at No Mercy 2000, and I was in the third row for Steve Austin's beer truck incident. I also witness DX reforming with X-pac's debut. X-pac did the wolf pack hand shake with me! All of these events happened in Albany, NY.

I was at the live show NBC did in primetime in Feb '88 when Andre beat Hogan to win the belt via the Hebner brothers screw job, then hand the title over to Ted DiBiase. Hogan had been champion like 4 years running at the time.

WCW Uncensored 1997 on right now.

The post-main event stuff is honestly one of my favorite moments in wrestling.

Now I feel like I have to stay up and watch! Thank god for iphone app!

HE GOT A COMMODE LID!!!

LOOK AT DAT HE GOT A COMMODE LID!

Were Public Enemy ever in WWE? Or am I thinking of someone else.

was Chris Benoit in WCW around this time? or was he always WWE?
Benoit didn't sign with WWF until early 2000. So yeah he was in the WCW at the time.

It may be a weird thought, but I always liked how the WCW ring sounded when somebody was slammed to the mat, like you could feel the impact of what was happening.
Yeah, I remember it being a very noticeable difference than what the WWF sounded like at the time. Weird.

I think Benoit was still employed by WCW at this time.

yup.

even won the title.... whcih was erased from history when he left the company the next day for WWF.

actually looking at the WCW title history on wiki for the year 2000 is pretty amazing. the title was Vacated so many damn times that year due to people leaving or Russo "rebooting" the company and other dumb swerves.

also ALL of bookers 5 WCW title wins where between july 00 to july 01.
