I like that they gave a plant a sign that said "Tonight creatures become champions"

HOW THE FUCK WOULD THAT FAN KNOW THERE WAS A TITLE REMATCH TONIGHT WTF
 
I actually enjoyed some of Impact, but of course they ruin the ending with a ridiculous no contest despite having seen multiple refs get replaced time and time again in wrestling after a ref bump :|

Crap that needs to be removed from wrestling:

1. Former champion rematch clause
2. Immediate rematches of stuff people just paid to see
3. DQ finish means champ retains
4. Cop out no contest finishes
5. Ref bumps
6. Prototypical scared heels

I'm sick and tired of all of these lazy ass "rules" wrestling has gone to every single time for years now, and get completely taken out of it every time I see one of these pop up....which is every single week.

1. Disagree. The champ should be able to get 1 shot at getting his title back. The problem is that they do that and then have some BS where he gets it back.
2. Agreed.
3. Disagree. The challenger should have to be able to beat the champion.
4. Agreed.
5. Disagree. If the Ref Bump doesn't cause an insane amount of stupidity I don't see the harm in it. Like, the ref goes down, heel hits the face with a chair then quickly hides it is fine.
6. Agreed. They can't play this off for a face which is unfortunate.

Ring of Honor got rid of most of that in the early years.....lately....eh.

So you're fine with the current pattern of:

1. Challenger fights for #1 contender spot, often having to beat the actual Champion for that opportunity
2. Challenger fights Champion and wins
3. New Champion has to fight the former champion because of the "automatic championship rematch"

A probable 3 wins in a row, at least, against the same person to win a championship.

All of this usually occurs within 3-4 weeks not counting how many times they'll brawl and/or be on opposite sides of the ring in the equally tired "Mixed feuds" tag match. It's LAZY booking, and drains every single feud SO quickly to the point that guys have fought each other 5 times in like 2 months. It's ridiculous.

It's lazy and has been taken advantage to the point that it draw absolutely no heat. In the same way that the challenger should have to pin the champ, the CHAMP should have to pin the challenger. I'm tired of companies resorting to the same "I'll just get DQ'd now" finishes because they can't be bothered to come up with anything creative.

Because we haven't seen this one million times? Eddie Guerrero ref trickery >>>>>> ref bumps. Again, lazy and overdone.
 
It would be nice if wins and losses actually meant something outside of title matches.

"Hey I want a title match rar."

"You've lost like 60 percent of your matches this quarter so no title match 4 u."

I think reducing the number of titles or cutting the frequency that they change hands would help too.
