I don't think it could be done (at least in the WWE). It depends entirely on the buildup between the wrestlers. The idea does interest me though.
I can understand the thinking behind having 2 title matches on every ppv but I think that one would be enough for some of the smaller ppvs. I would love to see a 2 month build for a championship match. In fact I think the champions should be wrestling a lot less in general.
I wouldn't mind a show without any title matches but I think that it would lose a little prestige in the eyes of most viewers these days because they've been conditioned to expect 2 every ppv.
