In retrospect, that guy should have been on the shortlist for carny of the year.
They actually let their talent tell their own stories and show their own personalities. That's what made WWF so great around 98-2002. Let the talent be creative and put their own passion into their characters. Austin has been preaching this nonstop of the past couple years.
I fully expect RAW's usual short/nothing promos from wrestlers that sound like they've been focus grouped to hell and back to return tonight. Interesting storytelling involves too much hard work and risk! It will be as if last week never happened.

A lot of people don't seem to speak out against Vince anymore these days, and what you get is what we have now. His crazy shit ways have finally snuffed out any other voices.
EDIT: When I say "Vince" this includes other extensions of him in the back, like Michael Hayes.
Because he paid his dues. 2 years in developmental, moved directly into the main event picture in WWE for the last 3 years. No one has had to fight the odds more than Roman Reigns.

It's just funny. If Reigns were ready, where is he going to take the company that Cena hasn't or can't? Or even Rock in his comebacks.
If Bryan is your top guy you're going to work great matches and get put over even in a loss, ideally. Not that it can't be the case for Reigns, but it doesn't look that way.
Doesn't really matter, though, because even if Bryan wins the Rumble and against Brock at Mania you can't stop the inevitable Reigns Train.
