Yeah, the build up to this AJ/Cena match felt like Cena reverted back to his old days. Had to get his win back and basically tried to bury AJ in promos

Horrible in the context of how he is used and pushed. That US title reign was a joke.

Kalisto has negative negative negative negative charisma.... like literally the worst mic work possibly ever and sorry but his work rate doesn't make up for that.

He'd be great on 205 Live if they bothered to do that division properly though I agree.

My fav moment other than that Today Show spot, was AJ talking about his love for the business be it in front of 50 fans in a gym or 25 000 in a WWE ring and Cena immediately responding with that's the difference between you and I, you wrestle because you have to, I wrestle because I want to... Way to listen John.

this is why i kind of miss CM Punk. If cena tried that same shit with Punk, Punk would have immediately fired back with something like that

He was never booked to succeed and dude has charisma he just not good on mic which isn't helped by WWE shit writing and booking.

I'll grant you he was never given much but I will say not good on the mic is underselling it, he is flat out top 5 in worst mic workers to have every worked consistently in the WWE

Sure if all you look at only from the perspective of did they put John Cena over....

Other than that it was typical you're nothing I'm everything Cena promos only with less poop jokes so A+ for that I guess.

I'm watching UUDD and holy shit i can't stop laughing at how hard aj is raging at swagger for doing an onside kick without telling him. This reminds me of the good old days of playing madden 05 with my buddies.

What came out of that match it seems is not Cena's promos but the fight between if this match was better than omega vs okada.

AJ was salty as fuck about that. I dont know why, either. If he's played Madden on Xbox the button combo to audible into an onside kick formation is the same on PS4, the names of the buttons just change. Swagger had such a fucking choke job, though.

If Rollins sticks with the Bears, AJ is going to smoke him in the finals though

The comparison is a joke. I thoroughly enjoyed AJ/Cena but it's not even close

It's just people's constant need to be the first to say "was this actually the best ever?" every time something is good. Which you could argue the same for Omega/Okada, but that was still markedly better than "how many FUs will AJ take?"

I think the whole 6 star rating lead to it. If okada match got 5 stars would bully ray and omega tweet responses about it from tweets from fans?
