Wow, PM is climbing back up.

Super Mario Ball is surprising, I was under the impression that the game was underwhelming at best.

Oh it is. But it has "Mario" on it, so consumers will eat it up.

There's a pachislot game that has been on that top ten list friggin' forever now. They obviously don't care THAT much for quality.

Super Mario Ball seriously sucks. The graphics of the boards are usually good, but everything else...

1.) The boards are empty and tiny. There's so little activity, and even if there were, the game would still be very slow-paced.

2.) There's something about the controls (exactly what it is, I'm not sure) that makes losing the ball very easy. You'd think that in a pinball game, the controls would be easy, but they're a bit awkward.

3.) The presentation sucks. The menus and everything suck, and it feels like it was made by a no-name third-party developer -- and it is. It's a bit difficult to see on the screen at times, too. Maybe that's why they cut down on the action...I don't know.

I'm not exactly sure what Nintendo saw in "Fuse Games," but I sure don't see it. Nintendo needs to start being a lot more careful to whom it licenses out its franchises. This is the sort of game that will tarnish the Mario name further.
