It's a huge system seller for this holiday in Asia where most of the supply is ending up to push Docked Switches:

In China the
Ring Fit Bundle has
15,000+ Reviews on Suning which is comparable to the Neon model. Unlike the Neon model
Ring Fit Bundle only launched officially in September. Neon has been around for nearly an year longer. There is also a second bundle with
1200+ reviews
The stand alone game with over
5500+ reviews and 99% of them being positive. For comparison on Amazon.co.jp
Ring Fit has
5300+ reviews but in Japan the game been out on the market for over an year. Suning has more than 1600 stores covering over 700 cities of China, so it gives us a pretty good idea about what is driving demand in the country, considering the lack of actual official releases in China for the Switch. A pretty substantial amount of software and hardware continues to be sold on the black market, but things are quickly evolving there.
So Asia's overall growth in the next few quarters(or perhaps years), will allow games like
Sakuna to end up selling
1 million fairly quickly - as Japanese publishers localize even games like
Sakuna for multiple Asian languages, while
Tencent has also made a move in terms of both being a strategic partner for Nintendo - while also investing into
Platinum and
Marvelous and forming partnerships with other companies to help with the marketing, certification and distribution in China. Next year
Olive Town and
Rune Factory 5 will be major games for
Marvelous in the Asia region, while
Sakuna can also see substantial growth as the team behind it gets more investments and updates it overtime.
Fitness Boxing 2 just launched and it's a sequel to a game that sold over
1 million world wide, looking at how
Ring Fit is doing in Asia - I think we would be looking at another fairly quickly announced
1 million seller for a third party.
