There can only be one. Jason, Freddy or Michael

For me it is Jason then Michael and lastly Fredrick.

Jason is a bull in a china shop that has the stealth ability to walk faster than you can sprint. The Shape was neck and neck until they introduced "the cult of thorn." Fredrick is a weakass bitch that only attacks when you sleep and killed children and originaly was set out to be a child molester. If you voted for that you are just a step above anyone that selected OTHER.

Jason. The movies are probably the worst of the three in terms of quality, but Jason as an implacable force of nature carries them. Also he punches a guy's head off and regularly 'folds' people up.

Freddy. They're way more creative with how he murders people. The original Elm Street is still amazing and I've found that the series as a whole holds up better than Friday the 13th and Halloween.

Freddy has some funny moments, but Jason has the more entertaining kills.

Michael Myers is kind of his own, separate thing, which I also like.

From all those three Fredy is the least scary one

He can be reasoned with and talk to, can only attack when you sleep and are the least physically imposing

The other two are relentless killing machine

Would love to see a Jason Vorhees vs Mike Myers movie

Michael Meyers is a psychopath that has no concept of right or wrong and no regard for human life. He killed his big sister when he was 6 years old. Apparently that kill gave him some kind of relief from his tormented soul, because he spends the rest of his life trying to kill his family members.

He spends years in a mental institution where he is exposed to other people and pop culture via television and staff that pity him. (One even teaches him how to drive)

Jason Vorhees is a “normal” kid who grew up with a loving mother and had a decent enough childhood that he was allowed to go to summer camp. When he was 11 he goes swimming in the lake on his own and thats where he drowned and become something else.

Jason didn't become crazy until he was a lot older than Michael when Michael first snapped. Also Jason became crazy due to a traumatic event. Michael was born a psychopath. Jason still has very human emotions including fear. The only human affects Michael ever experience are anger or confusion. Jason kills because he gets scared when he sees new people near his woods, and doesn't know how to socialize. Michael kills because he wants to feel the way he did the night he murdered his sister.

Michael is a better fighter and more intelligent than Jason, but they are both immortals who's powers grew with each movie so neither of them die

Small sample, but Jason is currently tracking 3rd place. What happened to this place? All these crazy sons of guns putting Freddy above Jason clearly need to get their eyes checked.

The concept of Freddy scares me. In the real world he's a pussy that can't take damage, but in dreams what he can do and the human subconscious and how he perverts the dreamscape is legitimately terrifying.

Freddy is the most interesting and timeless, Michael is the most scary in a realistic sense (until all the batshit sequels), Jason is a fun romp but not on their levels at all.

Easily Freddy. Of the three he's the most dynamic, most interesting conceptually and has the most unique murder weapon. All his movies are generally pretty fun and varied compared to F13 and Halloween as well. He's also the hardest to replace, actor-wise.

Myers is a something of a one hit wonder, mainly just being cool for that first movie, has a bad actor in 2 and comes off more like a lame version of Jason from 4 and on. I guess he does fuck with his victims a little bit though. They never really got the mask right after the 2nd movie either.

Jason and the F13 movies are trash (And they know it) but if you are ok with that then they're fun junkfood and generally have the best kills even though the censors hacked most of them to death. Several of the Jason's have some unique personality to their actions which is nice as well.

Who'd win in a fight or who is the best?

I think Michael is the best, as he's the most realistic and thus making him scariest. Who'd win in a fight? Probably Jason.

Good movies from each franchise include:

Halloween, H2, H3, H4, H(2018), and to a lesser extent H20.
Nightmare, 3, New Nightmare....Freddy vs Jason ( I consider this more a Nightmare movie than a Friday movie)
2,3,4,6, Remake

Best one is bolded.

Having recently watched both Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street series recently I felt like F13th held up much better than Nightmare. Michael has the single best movie but it's all downhill for Halloween after that for me.

Freddy's most entertaining, but probably least scary since they injected him with some comedy chops after the first two movies.

Between Jason and Mike, Mike is scarier. Jason seems more like the adorable monster that you can manipulate because he's not too bright.

I feel like I'm the only one that digs Jason the most in Jason X. Movie is dumb as hell, but in a good entertaining way. The general consensus is that movie is awful, but it has some of his best kills.

None of the Friday the 13th movies are any good.

They weren't supposed to be.

Saw most of them in the theater in my teens. The guys were laughing the entire time while the girls were screaming, it was fun. Sounds kind of creepy when I put it that way, lol.

My favorite movie in the genre is Student Bodies though.

Does anyone else kind of like the Friday the 13th remake? It is probably one of the better ones. I would say it is stronger than most of the sequels.

My vote goes to Mr. Myers.

Freddy is a pedophile. And repeatedly gets his ass handed to him by teens. Character and quips have aged like Spud McKenzie.
Jason is some tard who couldn't swim and needed his mom to start his killing spree. Ricky Jarvis story arc was decent with Cory Feldman though.

Myers on the other hand is just a pure, clean, cold psycho killer with some familial "complexity". Later films diluted the character for sure. BUt Halloween is pure brilliance. 4 & 5 are a decent follow up but they get a bit stupid at times.

Of course all three series bastardized their properties to little more than pop cultural footnotes of 20th century horror.
